With the explosion of live betting over the last decade, every bookmaker in the industry has come to realise the appeal and popularity of in play betting. While other bookmakers offer an excellent alternative, in my personal opinion, bet365 in-play betting is the one of the best in play betting product currently available. And I have tried quite a few before.

bet365 in-play betting offers bettors the opportunity to bet in play on a diverse range of sports, leagues and markets. If you’re a football fan, bet365 live betting has the most comprehensive menu of in play football betting markets you can imagine. Again, this is just my personal opinion but I do mean that quite literally. If there’s a football market available pre-match, chances are pretty high that bet365 offers that same market in play.

Fortunately for tennis fans like myself, bet365 in-play betting doesn’t stop with football. bet365 tennis fans will also find a fantastic array of betting markets available in play. No matter what level we are talking, whether it’s Grand Slam tennis or the Challenger circuit, bet365 tennis odds in play are the most diverse in the industry in my humble opinion.

No matter what sport I wanted to bet on, bet365 live betting had something to offer. Whether it’s football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, cricket, golf, horse racing, greyhounds, etc  in play betting bet365 markets were available for me to watch and wager on.

What Is bet365 In-play Betting?

Live betting was first popularised on the Betfair betting exchange around a decade ago, with traders able to bet in running on football, tennis, horse racing and a range of other sporting events. Not only were traders on the exchange able to bet against one another, the ability to bet while events were in play gave rise to the in play trader, a type of bettor who bets in and out of markets while the match or race was in running.

For example, a football trader may bet on Over 1.5 goals in a given football match. A goal is scored early. Bookmakers such as bet365 quickly realised the rising popularity of in play betting. This was no passing fad. In-play betting was quickly changing the way bettors approached their wagering and every bookmaker needed to take this new approach to betting seriously.

Now over a decade since the inception of live betting, every bookmaker in the industry offers a form of in play betting. Live betting gives bettors the opportunity to bet during live action, allowing them to both trade and bet across an amazing range of sporting events. Gone are the days where betting ended when the match started. Now you can bet on an amazing range of betting markets right up to the final whistle.

While bet365 offers a deep range of sports to bet on in play, it’s bet365’s football in-play betting that I was most impressed with. The depth of markets available to bet on during a football match is truly amazing. For leagues such as the Premier League, bet365 live betting offers the greatest depth of markets I could imagine.

When I visited the last time I was keen on match result markets, not only could I bet on traditional markets such as 1X2, Asian handicaps and goal total over unders, but I could also bet in play on correct score at fulltime, halftime-fultime, both teams to score, draw no bet, the halftime result, exact goal totals, both first half and second half markets plus winning margins (just to name a few).

Where bet365 football in-play bets really excelled is in terms of individual player markets. Not only could I bet on both match result and team performance markets, but I can also bet in play on first goalscorer, anytime goalscorer, next goalscorer, and last goalscorer. Of these the most popular is typically the next goalscorer market. It certainly adds to the drama when watching a match live.

Please note however that the range of bet365 live betting markets available is typically proportional to the popularity of the league or tournament. For example, I found an immense range of bet365 live betting markets available for leagues such as the Premier League and Champions League, while the range of in play odds available for more obscure leagues are limited.

What Is bet365 Cash Out?

The ability to ‘cash out’ of a bet in play has become increasingly popular in recent years. bet365’s Cash Out is perhaps the most popular form of this feature currently available. How does it work? Simply put, bet365 allows me to ‘cash out’ of my bet in play and in so doing, claim a portion of my profit, or if the match isn’t going as I’d hoped, minimise my losses.

For example, I may have £50 riding on Manchester United to win a match against Liverpool at odds of 2.50. With 80 minutes played, United lead 1-0. At this stage I can cash out a portion of my stake and take a profit based on the in play odds at the time of cashing out. How much you want to cash out is up to you. Either way, Cash Out gives me greater flexibility in my betting and bet365 Cash Out feature is no different.

bet365 Live Betting – Verdict

If I haven’t made it clear by this stage, let’s say it again – bet365 offers a diverse range of live betting markets available in the betting industry. And when it comes to major football leagues and tennis tournaments, bet365 in-play betting was truly amazing to me. I would give it 9,5 out of 10.
