Take part in the Safer Betting Survey

Before completing the Survey, please read the Terms and Conditions for participation below, where it is explained where, when, and how the winner will be picked and how the prize will be delivered:

Organizer

The Organizer (the “Organizer”, “we”, “us”, “our”) of this free of charge safer betting survey (hereinafter referred to as the “Safer Betting  Survey”) is Better Collective A/S with the registered office in Sankt Annæ Plads 28, 1250 Copenhagen K, Denmark, CVR 27652913 (the “Organiser”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

Eligibility

1. In order to participate in the Safer Betting Survey, a participant (“Participant”, “You”, “Your”) must be over 18 years of age.
2. By taking part in the Safer Betting Survey, You agree to the Safer Betting Survey Rules and the Privacy Policy.
3. Employees and freelancers hired by the Organizer or any of its subsidiaries, directly or through intermediary companies, are not allowed to participate in the Safer Betting Survey.

Start & End Date

1. Participation in the Safer Betting Survey is open from 21/06/2023 and it will last until 04/10/2023.

How to participate

1. Participation in this Safer Betting Survey is completely free of charge for all Participants.
2. Participants must fill out the survey form and answer a series of questions about their user behavior in the context of betting activities.
3. The purpose of these questions is to better understand the behavior of users in relation to sports betting with intention to improve the experience of users.
4. The Participants will be asked to provide his/her email address during registration for participation in the Safer Betting Survey.
5. Participants can fill out the form only once.

Prizes

1. The prize will be awarded to only one Participant (the “Winner”).
2. The Winner will be selected by a random draw from the eligible participants who completed the Safer Betting Survey.
3. The Winner will be awarded a prize of €1,000. In order to receive the prize, the winner needs to have an active bank account, Skrill or PayPal account.
4. The Organizer will contact the Winner to arrange handover of the prizes in a maximum of 14 days after the end of Safer Betting Survey.
5. If the Winner cannot be contacted by using the contact information provided within the form (e.g. inactive or misspelled email address), the prize will be awarded to another participant selected by a random draw.
6. The Organizer will contact the Winner to organize the handover of prizes in a maximum of 30 days since settling and verifying the winners.
7. The Winner will have 30 days after being notified of his/her winnings to reply and provide necessary information to the Organizer. In case the Winner misses this deadline, the prize will be awarded to another participant selected by a random draw.
8. The name of the Winner will be announced publicly on the website Safer Betting Survey was conducted in a maximum of 30 days after settling and verifying the Winner. The Winners will be given the opportunity to object to their information being published by sending an email at [email protected].
9. In the event income taxes are applicable, the winner will be liable to pay taxes to the tax authority.
10. Better Collective has rights to withhold any necessary prize related taxes, to comply with requirements of local or regional taxation rules.

Personal data

1. The Organizer will process the personal data of the participants in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
2. By participating in the Safer Betting Survey, the participants declare that they agree with processing of the following personal data: email address and username. The processing of this data is necessary for authentication purposes (registration in the contest) and to distinguish the participants from each other.
3. If you are the Winner of the prize your email addresses will be processed to contact you and your username in order to post the Winner information on our website. Please take note that we are required by the transparency responsibility to publicly announce the prize Winner. If you are the Winner of the prize we may also ask for the copy of the government issued ID to verify you are eligible to receive the prize.
4. If you are the Winner of the prize financial identification data (Skrill/PayPal) may be processed for the purpose of delivering the prize.
5. We will only store your personal data for the duration of the Safer Betting Survey and until the prices are delivered or until you withdraw your consent.

Breach of rules

1. Participating more than once by the same person as well as not answering all the questions from the Safer Betting Survey is foreseen as a breach of the rules of these Terms of Participation.
2. Any Participant found to be in breach of the rules and regulations set forth for the Safer Betting Survey will be subject to disqualification.

Complaints

1. Any issues or doubts which have no clear guidelines in the above rules will be dealt with at the discretion of the Organizer’s administration.
2. If you wish to contest some of our decisions you can do so by sending an email to [email protected].
3. Any legal disputes that may arise are subject to Danish law, except where mandatory local law in your country of residence overrides. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Rules shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Denmark. and will be settled before the competent courts.

Endnotes

We reserve the right to make changes to the rules of the Betting Survey at our sole discretion, and will inform the Participants of any significant changes by posting these changes on the website.
