Sara Saito has won 2 of her last 7 outings and is favored to beat Petra Martic. I am not buying any of that!

I am calling for the upset and putting Martic on the board, especially after seeing the Saito Barbora Pelicova match at the Angers Challenger a week ago. Saito was favored at -125 that day and lost in straight sets to the 182nd-ranked Czech Republic native.

Being favored doesn’t convince me that Saito is the better tennis player, and even though Martic has been away from tennis for about six weeks, the Croatian is gearing up for 2025 making a spot appearance at Le Open de Limoges.
