Mirra Andreeva is competing in her second Major Tournament in Paris at 17 years old, and she arrives at Thursday’s match with Jasmine Paolini as the favorite in her first semifinal appearance of her young career.

Andreeva and Paolini each provided big upsets in the quarterfinals, making this an unlikely matchup at the French Open semifinal. I know I didn’t predict either upset to occur, and I have had a rough week so I need to be on point today.
