Guiomar Maristany vs Darja Semenistaja Prediction, Picks, Odds, H2H, Stats - 4/4/25

Wildcard entrant Guiomar Maristany has been perfect on clay to start the 2025 season, and the Spaniard will face Darja Semensistaja in the quarterfinals of La Bisbal D’Emporda Challenger on Friday.
Maristany has enjoyed being at home in España to begin the clay swing, already with a tournament trophy on the shelf from the WTA35 ITF win last week at Sabadell.
The line setters have this as a coinflip line with close to even odds on either player to reach the semifinals, so who will it be?
EJ Garr’s prediction for Guiomar Maristany vs. Darja Semenistaja features odds of -112, which can be found below.

A half-game to save a few bucks of juice will always be my direction, so if you have Pinnacle, expect Maristany to stay hot in Spain!
Maristany ripped off five wins at Sabadell to kick off her clay season last week, and with two more wins at this event, she has stretched the win streak to seven games.
Not a bad start!
I expect that start to continue toward another victory for the Spaniard, and I don’t see why she can’t continue and win this!
The 165th-ranked Latvian didn’t get off to a strong start to begin the clay swing. Losing three of the first four outings, Semenistaja took out 99th-ranked Maria Lourdes Carle in the previous round as a +310 underdog, and is 2 – 0 this week in Spain.
The problem I have with Semenistaja is the 2 – 9 record before arriving in Spain this week. The Latvian isn’t in good form despite the win over Carle, and I have more confidence in the 7-game win streak that Maristany has produced to begin the clay campaign.
I don’t think anyone would argue when I say that Maristany on clay is where she likes to be. The Spaniard has five ITF titles on the dirt in her career, and might find her way to #6 with three more wins this week.
This match is also going the distance, so expect a three-set win for Maristany, and play those lines accordingly if you get my drift!
