Anastasia Potapova dismantled Rakhimova in her opening match before doing the same to Golubic in the second round at Roland Garros. For the second straight season, the Russian native has reached the third round in Paris although her 5 – 4 record on clay has room for improvement. 

The Saratov native is competing in her fourth Major in the Parisian Capital, and her length and solid return of serve have carried her to this point.

Potapova is competing in the 18th Major in her career, although she has never gotten out of the third round at either of the four big events on the WTA Tour.

Xinyu Wang did exactly what we thought she would do in her last match against Tomova. A three-set thriller transpired and we enjoyed cashing a +148 ticket for it.

Wang has needed three sets to get past Tomova and Neimeier in Paris, as the 22-year-old native of Shenzhen China is putting up her best numbers on clay since turning pro in 2018. 

I am surprised to see Potapova favored at -220, and it bothered me enough to think dog right off the bat. I am not going to be ballsy and put the Wang Moneyline on the board, but Pinnacle is only asking -115 for the +4 handicap.

At +4, I would have no issue pushing that bet but I do think that Wang can take a set from Potapova even if the line setters do not. The Over 2.5 Sets prop comes in at +155, and let me tell you the restrain I am having to leave that alone.
