Alexandra Bozovic and Nina Vargova will meet in the first round of the Brisbane QTC Tennis International Tournament on Monday. The Australian native will open as the favorite in this WTA50 event although the lines are relatively even from site to site.

Pinnacle is offering -140 toward a Bozovic win and a -118 offer on the Slovakian can be found in response depending on your bookmaker.

EJ Garr’s Alexandra Bozovic vs. Nina Vargova prediction calls for a match that goes the distance at +140 so get the tip below.

Alexandra Bozovic vs Nina Vargova WTA50 Brisbane Prediction: A Lengthy Opening Round Clash

  • Prediction: Match Total Over 2.5 Sets
  • Best Odds: +142
  • Bookmaker: Pinnacle
  • Stakes: 1/10

Odds updated at 7:00 am UK Time on November 12 2024.

The bookmaker 1XBet is showing -120 and -120 for either Bozovic or Vargova to win this match so look for the best offer before you throw your money down.

Pinnacle has Bozovic favored at -140 and -106 on the Slovakian native but I will not fuss around with the Moneylines here.

This match features 499th-ranked Bozovic who is clinging to a top-500 spot but is favored over 332nd-ranked Vargova.

Vargova recently lost to 365th-ranked Hikaru Saito in Sydney on October 31 in three sets, and two of Nina’s appearances in the event went the distance. Onyu Choi, ranked 1,005th, took Vargova to three sets to open the tournament in Sydney but the Slovakian native has five tournament wins during the 2024 campaign.

Bozovic has gone 10 straight events with only one two-match win streak and is about to be dismissed early again in Brisbane. Vargoa will win this match at Pinnacle users should take advantage of the -106 on the Slovakian win.

I do see Bozovic forcing the issue and winning a set and the +140 value on a three-set affair is there for the taking. I’ll take it!

If you follow me regularly here, I am lowering my units to 1 because we are not spending big money on a WTA50 event. We are talking about players ranked outside of the top 300 which means anything and everything is a coin-flip as to what we will get.

ALEXANDRA BOZOVIC RECENT FORM

Alexandra Bozovic is 4 – 7 over the last 11 outings and begins the week ranked 499th.

Bozovic hasn’t won a tournament in two years and has reached only two semifinals in 2024.

The Australian native is 12 – 15 on hard courts this year and has a record of 16 – 17 in 2024. A losing record would be the seventh in eight years with the 25 – 19 in 2022 as the only winning campaign.

NINA VARGOVA RECENT FORM

Nina Vargova has won five tournament titles and started the season ranked 742nd. Vargova enters this week ranked 332nd with a 42 – 20 record having winning seasons on both hard courts and clay.

Vargova went 29 – 14 in the dirt and earned three of the five tournament wins on the surface.

BOZOVIC VS VARGOVA HTH – STAT OF THE MATCH

Bozovic and Vargova are meeting for the first time today at the Brisbane QTC Tennis International.

The winner of this first-round match will face either Eudice Chong or Jia-Jing Lu in the second round of the Brisbane QTC Tennis International. I will have a preview for that match today so be on the lookout for it.
