Tuesday's Horse Racing Tips: Goodwood, July 30th
Today’s Horse Racing Tips – July 30th
There are six scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with flat fans in for a treat as the Glorious Goodwood 5-day meeting gets underway on drying summer ground (softer side at the weekend but the weather forecast now set fair all five days). There are supporting cards from Beverley, Ffos Las, Galway, Lingfield and Yarmouth, with the Irish festival sure to be packed out for their popular evening meeting.

Goodwood 2.25 (UK time)
Clive Cox’s runners have mainly been needing a run this season, but they are firing on all cylinders now (6 winners in the last 14 days), and this progressive 2-y-o is worth sticking with as he jumps up in class at Goodwood on Tuesday. He travelled very strongly under a confident ride when getting off the mark at Salisbury last month (tucked away up inner and quickened smartly when finally seeing daylight), and there is plenty more improvement to come after just two career starts so far.

Tatterstall
Goodwood 4.10 (UK time)
Michael Dods would not be the most regular visitor down south, and it looks significant that he sends his improving front-running sprinter here for this valuable handicap. He goes best on very quick ground, as illustrated by his win from the front at Catterick in June, and a fast break from the stalls could soon take these rivals out of their comfort zone under regular rider Connor Beasley.
Odds: 11.00
