There are three race meetings in the UK on Monday, with jumps action from Ludlow and Taunton and a twilight all-weather card at Wolverhampton under the lights from 4.00pm. The highlight of the day comes at Taunton, where the Class 3 limited handicap chase at 2.00pm is sure to be a competitive betting heat.

Milton Harri’s tough and consistent handicapper just got outbattled up the Fontwell hill last time out by a very resolute rival on the soft ground, but remains in terrific heart and will relish this flatter track and relative speed test at Ludlow on Monday. The yard continues in excellent form, with three winners in the last fortnight, and he should get a good pace to aim at with a couple of frontrunners in the line up.

Tom Symonds stayer is best when the ground rides really testing, and he showed one run back over this course and distance that he is poised to strike from a reduced handicap mark.
