Saturday's Horse Racing Tips: November 20th
Today’s Racing Tips – November 20th
Saturday’s ITV action comes from Ascot and Haydock, where the big race of the day is undoubtedly the Grade 1 Betfair Chaser at Haydock (3pm). This race is traditionally run on very testing ground and the popular mudlark Bristol du Mai has a fantastic record in the event. He will be back with another bold bid, but could do with some rain arriving with the ground currently only on the easy side of good. At Ascot there are sure to be all the top yards represented, and the handicap at 3.15pm often produces a graded performer in the making.
Saturday ITV Racing Tips
Time | Track | Selection | Analysis |
---|---|---|---|
13:50 | HAYDOCK | BRAVEMANSGAME | Paul Nicholls novice belied inexperience to make a deeply impressive winning chasing debut from the front at Newton Abbot last month, and he is confidently expected to handle a step up in class at Ascot on Saturday. |
14:05 | ASCOT | DEFI DU SEUIL | The wheels rather fell off for Phillip Hobbs classy chaser after he readily won the Clarence House Chase at this track in January 2020, but he has been freshened up now after 301 days off the track and a positive market move would be very encouraging dropping down to Grade 2 company. |
14:25 | HAYDOCK | BASS ROCK | Sandy Thomson has an exciting team of young horses in the north, and this unexposed stayer created a good impression when making a winning seasonal reappearance. |
15:00 | HAYDOCK | WAITING PATIENTLY | There are rave reports about this high class performer since he joined Christian Williams from Ruth Jefferson, and he will relish the decent eased ground for his seasonal reappearance in this valuable prize. |
15:15 | ASCOT | AMOOLA GOLD | Few horses have a better record at Ascot than Dan Skelton’s prolific handicapper, and he showed a fantastic attitude to get up close home at the last meeting under an inspired ride from Bridget Andrews. |
15:35 | HAYDOCK | STRICTLYADANCER | Christian Williams progressive handicapper impressed under a confident ride at Cheltenham last week, and has optimum conditions to follow up here under the excellent 3lb claimer Jack Tudor. |
