It would have been taken for a light joke if anyone claimed Liverpool would win a quadruple at the start of the 2021/2022 season. Fast forward to mid-April and it is no longer a joke but a feat that now looks rather possible with each passing day.
Having won the Carabao Cup already, Liverpool’s 3-2 statement win against City at the weekend took them to the final of the FA Cup for the first time since 2006. With that in mind, only 11 total fixtures stand in the way of the Reds and their quest to win a historic quadruple.
While the Reds are chasing history, it is a different story for their Merseyside neighbours who could be playing Championship football next season. As Everton continue to struggle, we take a look at the chances of Liverpool winning all remaining trophies and the Toffees suffering the drop alongside with odds from Skybet.

What are Liverpool’s odds to win the quadruple?
It is rather poetic to imagine that Liverpool’s potential history-defining season depends a lot on Manchester City but that will be explained further on.
Having beaten Chelsea already this season in one final, the most likely trophy that Liverpool can win at the moment is the FA Cup. It is no surprise the odds here are rather humble. They are already in the final and they boast extra motivation in the fact that Jurgen Klopp is yet to win this title since he took over as Liverpool boss in 2015.
Chances of winning FA Cup according to bookmaker odds – 64%
Up next is the Champions League where they could possibly face Manchester City in the final. For some reason, fans and pundits seem to believe Pep Guardiola’s men will topple Real Madrid to make their second successive final and maybe I also believe there is some truth to that.
Believe it or not, Manchester City making it to the final will come as good news for Liverpool. The Reds have avoided defeat against Guardiola’s men all three times this season and that mental edge will do them good if the script plays out as predicted. Though things are much different now, we all remember what happened the last time Real Madrid and Liverpool met in the Champions League final.
Regardless, one can’t write off Unai Emery and his boogey Villarreal team just yet, especially after knocking out Juventus and Bayern Munich on their way to the semifinals.
Chances of winning Champions League according to bookmaker odds – 44%
The Premier League is where it’s the most difficult for Liverpool. This is simply because it’s not entirely in Liverpool’s hands as they must also hope City drop points. Should both sides win the remainder of their games (which is very possible), City will still nick it with a point.
At some point in the season, Liverpool were priced at 25.00 odds to win the league and their current odds show how far they’ve come since December. They do have Tottenham to face but given the venue at Anfield, it might end up being a one-sided affair.
Regardless, if anything is likely to ruin Liverpool’s chances of a quadruple, it could be the Premier League.
Chances of winning Premier League according to bookmaker odds – 36%
So what are the chances of Liverpool winning the quadruple according to bookmaker odds?
Combining bookmaker odds for each trophy, Liverpool are roughly at 10.1% chances to add the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League trophy to their League Cup this season.
….and Everton to be relegated?
The question remains if Liverpool can keep up their high-octane football even in the midst of a gruesome fixture list that might require some rotation. Also, current hopes are based on a fully fit squad but one key injury could derail their chances.
For Everton, they are four points ahead of the drop-zone with a game in hand (just like Burnley below them) and a late-goal against Leicester means they have now avoided defeat in their last two games, including a victory against Manchester United.
However, with a fixture list that includes two games against Leicester and fixtures against Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Crystal Palace, they are anything but far away from being involved in relegation discussions.
Chances of Everton suffering relegation according to bookmaker odds – 33%
So the chances of Liverpool winning the quadruple and rivals Everton being relegated (the quintuple?) are roughly 3.5%.
