Valladolid vs Real Madrid Betting Preview

The league leaders are back in La Liga action this weekend and our expert Nathan Joyes has provided his Valladolid vs Real Madrid Best Bet, team news, lineups and fixtures preview.
Having landed his winning tip in his Real Madrid vs Las Palmas preview, it may be a wise decision to see what our expert has to say as Carlo Ancelotti’s side are back on the road.
Valladolid head into this encounter having lost three of their last five matches, and it doesn’t get any easier with Real Madrid coming to town. Find out what Nathan’s best bet for the match is below.
Valladolid vs Real Madrid Best Bet 1: Clean sheet for Carlo
Spain, La Liga, Saturday, January 25th, 20:00 (UK)
Real Madrid continued their title charge with a convincing 4-1 win against Las Palmas last weekend. Despite falling behind inside the first minute, Carlo Ancelotti’s side regrouped and were out of sight within 36 minutes thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe and Brahim Diaz.
Their convincing victory sees them top of the recent form guide with 13 points from their last five matches, which has seen Los Blancos go two points clear after both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona dropped points last weekend.
On their travels, Real Madrid have picked up 19 points from 10 matches, the second best in the league behind Barcelona, although their rivals have played two more games on the road.
Valladolid are a side Real relish playing against. Not only have they beat them in their last six head-to-heads, but Valladolid haven’t managed to score in any of those matches. You have to go back to 2019 the last time they scored against the La Liga giants – and they didn’t even win on that occasion.
In fact, the hosts haven’t won this fixture since 2008, where they somehow edged past a side consisting of Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Gonzalo Higuain and Gago 1-0. And although they survived relegation that season, fast forward 17 years and it’s a completely different story.
Paulo Pezzolano’s team are rock bottom with just 15 points after 20 matches. Despite collecting 12 of those points at Estadio Jose Zorrilla, they’ve only managed to score seven goals in front of their supporters. Those with season cards are not getting their money’s worth.
Having conceded the most amount of goals in La Liga (39), their chances of success looks rather limited against one of the best teams in the business. No surprise, then, to see the visitors priced heavily odds-on to win.
But with Valladolid struggling to score, and having recently lost 5-0 against Atletico Madrid, hitting the target just once across the entire 90 minutes, history may well repeat itself on Saturday night.
Real Madrid can rock up and record another victory, but they can do so without having to pick the ball out of their net.

Valladolid vs Real Madrid Injuries, Team News and Possible Lineups
Carlo Ancelotti has announced he will be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season, so expect him to go all out for the title. His team is in a strong position, but can’t afford to take any risks if his players are fit and well.
Vinicius Junior missed the match against Las Palmas due to his red card against Valencia, but returned to the squad against Salzburg in their Champions League match. The Brazilian is expected to lead the line alongside Mbappe and Rodrygo on Saturday evening.
Valladolid have a suspension of their own to worry about as Croatian midfielder Stanko Juric picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in their 2-1 loss to Espanyol. Amath Ndiaye is the likely candidate to replace him in the middle of the park, despite only featuring for 18 minutes in the last two matches.
Valladolid possible starting lineup:
Hein; Rosa, Sanchez, Juma Bah, Perez, Martin, Ndiaye, Perez, Moro, Anuar, Marcos Andre
Real Madrid possible starting lineup:
Courtois; Garcia, Rudiger, Asencio, Vazquez, Ceballos, Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Bellingham, Rodrygo, Mbappe
