Fiorentina vs Bologna Best Bet
Sun, March 13th, 11:30 (UK Time)
Having won 7 of their first 10 Serie A home games heading into February, Fiorentina have stuttered at the Stadio Artemio Franchi recently. ‘La Viola’ have won one of their last four home games in all competitions, scoring just two goals within that time, albeit against tough opposition.
Despite this recent blip, the home side’s form against supposedly weaker opponents is very impressive. Fiorentina have won all six of their home games against teams currently residing in the bottom half of Serie A. They have scored two or more goals in each of those matches.
This Sunday, Vincenzo Italiano’s men host bottom-half Bologna, who have won just one of their eight matches since the turn of the year.
Bologna’s away form has been poor all season long; they have suffered seven defeats on the road. Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side also has one of the worst defensive records in the division away from home. In their 13 away games, Bologna have conceded at least twice on seven occasions.
Only Inter and Lazio have scored more goals at home than Fiorentina, and with Krzysztof Piatek beginning to fill the void left by Dusan Vlahovic, I’m confident they can once again find their scoring touch against an out-of-form Bologna side.
- Selection: Fiorentina win and over 1.5 goals
- Best Odds: 2.00 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

Udinese vs Roma Best Bet
Sun, March 13th, 17:00 (UK Time)
In a manner not normally associated with Jose Mourinho teams, Roma have been one of the division’s most entertaining sides to watch away from home. Their 13 away matches have featured 46 goals, which is an average of 3.5 goals per game.
Scoring goals away from home hasn’t been an issue for the ‘Giallorossi’, with Milan and Sassuolo the only sides to have scored more times on the road in Serie A. However, one aspect that will frustrate Mourinho is that his side have only managed three clean sheets away from the Stadio Olimpico this season.
Considering these statistics, it’s not surprising that both teams have scored in 8 of Roma’s 13 away games.
Udinese represent the mirror image of their weekend opponents as they too have kept just three clean sheets at home in the league. At the other end of the field though, Udinese have blanked in just one of their last nine games at the Dacia Arena, and are on track for their best goal scoring campaign there since 2017. As a result, seven of the last nine Udinese home fixtures have seen both teams score.
Given the goal threat and defensive vulnerability each side possesses in equal measure, the 1.83 Betway are offering for both teams to score looks like excellent value.
- Selection: Both teams to score – Yes
- Best Odds: 1.83 (Betway)
- Stakes: 7/10

Torino vs Inter Best Bet
Sun, 13th March, 19:45 (UK Time)
Despite overall defeat in their Champions League knockout tie with Liverpool, Inter fought valiantly to win the second leg 1-0 at Anfield. Tuesday’s result meant Simone Inzaghi’s men became just the second side to prevent Liverpool from scoring at home this season.
Fans of Serie A wouldn’t have been surprised by that clean sheet because domestically Inter have been rock solid defensively, particularly away from the San Siro. Alongside Napoli, Inter have conceded the fewest goals (10) away from home in the division. This record includes six clean sheets in the last eight Serie A away fixtures.
Whilst Inter appear to have rediscovered their confidence, having just recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since early January, Torino approach this weekend’s fixture second bottom of the form table. Ivan Juric’s men are winless in six games and have also recorded the lowest xG (3.75) of any team across the last five matches.
The last meeting between these two sides was a tight affair and I’m expecting more of the same on Sunday evening. Inter’s defensive solidity and Torino’s attacking woes of late adds value to the 2.20 on offer for both teams not to find the net.
- Selection: Both teams to score – No
- Best Odds: 2.20 (BetVictor)
- Stakes: 6/10
What is a Serie A Acca?
A Serie A acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Serie A acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Serie A accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Serie A acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
