Motherwell vs Dundee Best Bet
Sat, March 6th, 15:00 (UK Time)
Motherwell still have a shot at finishing in the top six if they can find some form soon, and a home match against Dundee is the type of fixture that could finally provide them with some impetus.
The home side suffered a 1-0 defeat against Ross County in midweek but created enough chances to win the game. They are now winless since Boxing Day, which is a run of nine league matches.
However, they showed good form last weekend by coming from two goals down to secure a shock draw against Rangers at Ibrox.
Dundee, meanwhile, are a side that is also toiling. Although they picked up a draw against Hibs on Wednesday, they were outplayed in that fixture even when their opponents went down to 10 men in the second half.
Bottom of the table, they are winless in their last three matches, which coincides with the shock sacking of manager James McPake only to replace him with Mark McGhee, who is still serving a touchline ban.
The Dark Blues conceded seven goals in the manager’s first two matches in charge and rode their luck in midweek.
- Selection: Motherwell
- Best Odds: 2.15 (Coral)
- Stakes: 5/10

Livingston vs Celtic Best Bet
Sun, March 7th, 12:00 (UK Time)
Celtic look to be priced too short as they travel to Livingston on Sunday. Ange Postecoglou’s side have not exactly hit the buffers in recent matches, but there is little doubt that their level has plunged from the exciting level they managed in sweeping away Rangers 3-0 at the beginning of February.
Wins have been coming, but they have been a slog. Even a 2-0 success at home over St Mirren was laboured on Wednesday and before that they were held scoreless against Hibs.
Livingston, meanwhile, have quietly climbed to fourth in the standings off the back of a six-game undefeated run that includes four victories.
Their record against the two big Glasgow clubs, meanwhile, is not a bad one this season. Indeed, they have played Celtic on two occasions and have yet to concede a goal, even sneaking a 1-0 victory over the Hoops in September. Rangers, meanwhile, struggled past them 1-0 at Ibrox at the end of January.
Of course, it is hard backing against Celtic to get the victory – of course they are seen as favourites – but Livingston will have their part to play in the game and there is value in the handicap market on David Martindale’s side.
- Selection: Livingston +1.5 (AH)
- Best Odds: 1.75 (Bet365)
- Stakes: 6/10

What is a Scottish Premiership Best Bet?
A Scottish Premiership best bet is our top selection for a match in Scotland’s top flight. 12 teams take part in the competition with usually six matches over a weekend. A Scottish Premiership best bet will be a writer’s tip for one of these matches. These best bets can be put into a Scottish Premiership acca. The Scottish Premiership acca is different to a normal bet because it combines the selections into a single wager. If one of these bets loses then the Scottish Premiership acca loses.
