Argentine giants River Plate have been exceptional in recent years under the highly-rated Marcelo Gallardo, and after three matches without a win they returned to winning ways by putting five past Union Santa Fe in their last match. River are known for their attacking football, and they should create a whole host of chances against Lanus here.

Two heavyweights of Brazilian football clash on Saturday night, and we should see an entertaining affair. Corinthians have started the season well and are just three points behind the league leaders Palmeiras. Santos are ten points off the top of the table and they will need to improve significantly to come away with all three points here.
Corinthians beat Santos 4-0 midweek when they met in the cup, and they will be confident of getting a result here. Both teams are likely to make changes to the teams that started in the week, but Corinthians are unbeaten at home in their last 16 matches. Santos have won just two of their last 10 matches in all competitions, so I’m more than happy to back the home side to secure victory here.
