Chelsea host Arsenal for a crucial London Derby. The Blues won the previous match back in August and are aiming to complete their first domestic double over the Gunners since 2015-16. Eight points separate them in the table as the Blues aim to secure 3rd and Arsenal chase 4th. They’ll draw level on points with Tottenham if they win this one.
Thomas Tuchel’s men have struggled at home of late. They’ve lost their last two at Stamford Bridge for the first time all season. They haven’t lost three home matches in a row since 1993.
The Gunners have also been off form. It’s three straight defeats for Arsenal in the Premier League. Four losses in five. It’s their worst run of form since November 2020. It’s the third occasion that Arsenal have lost three consecutive leaguer matches under Mikel Arteta. They haven’t lost four league games in a row since March 1995.
I don’t think they’ll lose here. The Gunners have a habit of pulling off surprise results against the Blues, especially in bigger matches. They’ve only lost one of their last five competitive matches against Chelsea. They look good plus half a goal on the Asian line.

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Best Bet

Newcastle host Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. Many had expected this match to have a big impact on the relegation battle. Instead, this appears to be a contest between two teams competing for a place in the top half. The sides are level on 37 points, three behind Brighton in 10th. Goal difference counts against the Magpies but they certainly have a chance.
Newcastle have won eight of their last 12 Premier League matches. That’s as many as they won in the 47 top flight fixtures before then. It’s a remarkable run of form for Eddie Howe’s men.
But this will be a big test for them. Newcastle have lost three of their last six league matches against Crystal Palace, as many as they lost in the 24 before then. The Eagles won this match last season and are in good form. They’ve only lost one of their last six Premier League away matches. I expect them to get something here.

Everton vs Leicester Best Bet

Everton vs Leicester is a big match for the hosts. The Toffees are just three points above the bottom 3 and face the prospect of their first relegation since for over 70 years.

I think they’ll continue that decent home record here. It’s a winnable match for Frank Lampard’s men and I think they’ll get something out of it. The value is with them.

Manchester City vs Brighton Best Bet

The later kick-off this Wednesday sees title-chasing Manchester City host Brighton. A lot has been made of Liverpool’s potential quadruple but Manchester City are still the favourites for a remarkable double. They lead the Reds by a point and can’t afford any slip-ups here.
They host an in-form Brighton side. Few would have expected the Seagulls to get anything from their last two matches. They’ve travelled to Arsenal and Tottenham and won both matches in the last week. They now face a third consecutive away match against a top 6 side with aspirations for another upset.
The bookies have given them two whole goals on the Asian Lines market. That feels a little generous given Manchester City’s recent blip. With the matches coming thick and fast for Manchester City, my approach here is to hope for a slow-paced game and few goals. Two whole goals is difficult to turn down.
