We’re back with more Premier League best bets this Saturday. There are six matches this Saturday and I’ve got best bets for all of them. Our attentions turn to the top and bottom of the table. Both Manchester City and Liverpool are in action at the top. At the other end, Watford take on Burnley in a massive clash between two relegation-threatened clubs.

Newcastle vs Liverpool Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 12:30 (UK Time)
I’m backing Newcastle to make Liverpool work when the sides meet in Saturday’s early kick-off. It’s a tight turnaround for Jurgen Klopp’s men. The Reds played Villarreal on Wednesday night in the first leg of their Champions League knockout semi-final. They travel to Spain on Tuesday for the second leg.
That won’t help the preparation for this one. Liverpool have historically dominated this fixture. They haven’t lost any otheir last 10 matches against Newcastle. They’re also on a fine run of form with only two dropped points in their last 13 matches.
Newcastle are also a form side with 10 wins in 14. They won only one of their 14 matches before then. I expect they’ll make Liverpool work here. The Magpies are a difficult side to beat at the moment, especially at home. They’ve only lost one of their last 12 home league matches and that was against Manchester City. They look good value plus the advantage.
- Selection: Newcastle +1.5 (AH)
- Odds: 1.72 (10Bet)
- Stakes: 8/10

Watford vs Burnley Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 15:00 (UK Time)
It’s a massive match at the bottom as Watford take on Burnley. A win for the Clarets will lift them further away from the relegation zone. They could go five points clear of the Everton in 18th. That result would effectively seal Watford’s relegation.
We shouldn’t expect an exciting match. Three of the last four meetings between the two clubs have finished with under 1.5 total match goals. The bookies have the goal line at 2.25 for this one which, if anything, feels a little generous. I was tempted to back the under at 2.04 but No on BTTS looks great value.
- Selection: No on Both Teams to Score
- Odds: 2.10 (Betfred)
- Stakes: 6/10
Southampton vs Crystal Palace Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 15:00 (UK Time)
If there is one club that is due a win in the Premier League, it’s Southampton. The Saints have gone through a diemsal run of form despite some palatable fixtures. They’ve lost to Burnley, Watford and Newcastle in the last two months. Their only win in that time came against Arsenal.
Palace haven’t won since they also beat the Gunners earlier this month. They’re starting to show their away form of old. The Eagles have lost their last two after a run of five on the road without one. Southampton have won 56% of their Premier League matches against the Eagles. Only against Swansea City do they have a higher win percentage. I can see the Saints getting the three points here.
- Selection: Southampton to Win
- Odds: 2.45 (Unibet)
- Stakes: 6/10

Aston Villa vs Norwich Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 15:00 (UK Time)
Norwich could be relegated on Saturday if things don’t go their way. It’s been on the cards for a while but the fact they’ve taken four points from 10 matches has sealed their fate. The 3-0 defeat to Newcastle last weekend was pretty damning.
They now face an out of form Aston Villa team. Steven Gerrard’s men will be eager to bounce back after taking only one point from their last five in the league. It’s their worst run of form since the five-match losing streak in October that cost Dean Smith his job. He’ll take his place in the away dugout for this one. Smith is hoping to become the first former-Aston Villa boss to beat Villa in the Premier League.
I don’t think he will. I can see Villa getting back to winning ways here with a convincing victory here. I’m backing them -1.5 goals.
- Selection: Aston Villa -1.5 (AH)
- Odds: 2.19 (10Bet)
- Stakes: 8/10

Wolves vs Brighton Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 15:00 (UK Time)
It’s got a low-scoring match written all over it. Wolves take on Brighton at Molineux with a place in the top half on both teams’ minds. It was 1-0 to Bruno Lage’s side when these teams met in the reverse fixture back in December.
History suggests it won’t be one for the neutrals. Brighton are 19th in the Premier League table when looking at average total match goals this season. The only team below them are Wolves at 1.88. Both teams have scored in only 30% of Wolves’ matches.
I’m thinking along those lines here. I’m backing no on BTTS at some fairly low odds. Considering the goal line is low at 2.0, no on BTTS carries more value here.
- Selection: No on Both Teams to Score
- Odds: 1.80 (BetVictor)
- Stakes: 10/10
Leeds vs Manchester City Best Bet
Sat, April 30th, 15:00 (UK Time)
Saturday concludes with this match between Manchester City and Leeds at Elland Road. It’s a local derby with plenty on the line for the visitors. Manchester City need all three points to keep up their quest for the title while Leeds need the points to stay away from the relegation battle.
Neutrals should expect goals. Only Liverpool at 3.24 have a higher average number of total match goals than Leeds’ 3.21 this season. Manchester City aren’t far behind in that particular category at 3.06. That explains why the goal line is way up at 3.25. That and the fact that Man City won 7-0 the last time the sides met.
I’m going down another route here. I’m looking at the Asian handicap market for value. The hosts have won three and drawn two of their last five in the Premier League. They lost six in a row before then. City are coming off a tricky Champions League semi-final and have another next week. That’s why I’m backing Leeds +1.5 on the Asian lines.
- Selection: Leeds +1.5 (AH)
- Odds: 2.08 (Unibet)
- Stakes: 7/10

WHAT IS A PREMIER LEAGUE ACCA?
A Premier League acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Premier League acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Premier League accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Premier League acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
