Croatia vs France Best Bet
Nations League, Monday 6th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
It was quite a surprise to see both sides come away empty-handed in their opening games in the UEFA Nations League. Croatia were blown away by Ralf Rangnick’s Austria. Meanwhile, Denmark came from a goal behind to stun Les Bleus at the Stade de France.
Despite playing in Stadion Poljud in Split, Didier Deschamps’ side arrive here as odds-on favourites for the victory and are currently priced at 1.95 with bet365.
Croatia had more possession, corners and shots in Osijek last Friday and somehow managed to lose the game by three goals to nil. They’ll be wanting to bounce back quickly against the current world champions who they may feel are there for the taking.
The goal line is set reasonably low for this clash with 2.25 goals priced at 1.890 which seems a reasonable angle but BTTS is ever so slightly bigger at 1.90 which I’m willing to get stuck into.
France have been amongst the goals for and against plenty of times since the European Championships last summer, eight of the last 11 competitive fixtures have seen this selection land. Only Kazakhstan and Finland failed to find the back of the net against Les Blues in that time.
Zlatko Dalic’s side are useful more often than not when it comes to finding the back of the net in their home country. Austria were the first side to keep out Croatia since England held them to a goalless draw in 2018.
- Selection: Both Teams to Score – Yes
- Best Odds: 1.90 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10
Andorra vs Moldova Best Bet
Nations League, Monday 6th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
There’s very little discussion when sides like Andorra and Moldova are in action and it’s not hard to see why given the huge gulf in class compared to other footballing nations, however in terms of a betting angle, we can use the negativity to our advantage.
All three of the previous meetings between these two sides have ended with exactly one goal, two wins for Moldova and the recent seeing a surprise victory for Andorra back in 2019.
The hosts are ranked 153rd in the Fifa rankings and are still on the hunt for their first win in this competition, they have drawn six and lost seven and may have their best chance yet to record a victory.
Moldova are ranked even lower than their opponents all the way down in 180th according to Fifa but that will have very little impact once the sides come face to face at the Estadi Nacional in Andorra la Vella.
There is little surprise that the goal expectancy is low given recent clashes, the under 2.00 goal line selection will see us walk away with a win if there is zero or one goal within 90 minutes. Two match goals will end in a refund and if this game turns into a goal-fest seeing three goals or more the bet loses.
- Selection: Under 2.00 Goal Line
- Best Odds: 1.900 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10
Slovakia vs Kazakhstan Best Bet
Nations League, Monday 6th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
This will be the first-ever meeting between these two nations as they’re set to battle it out at the City Arena Trnava on Monday night, the hosts are huge favourites and should see off Magomed Adiyev’s side with a fair bit of ease.
The Slovaks registered an opening day victory in Novi Sad with a 1-0 win over Belarus as 19-year-old Tomas Suslov came off the bench and scored within two minutes of his arrival.
Kazakhstan won 2-0 in Nur-Sultan against Azerbaijan despite a dominant first 45 minutes from the visitors as they ended the game with way more shots. Igor Shatskiy made seven saves on the day in his team’s win.
Pavel Hapal’s side are priced at 1.25 to win whilst the away side are available at 12.00 so it’s clear to see how this game is expected to turn out whereas 2.20 is the price for Kazakhstan to find the back of the net.
In the opening game Slovakia restricted Belarus to just one shot on target in a game they dominated large parts of.
There is plenty of talent in the home nations squad with many of them playing their domestic football in Europe’s top major leagues. Milan Skriniar is the standout, the defender is a key name in Inter’s squad with Stanislav Lobotka also plying his trade in Serie A.
There is a definite gulf in class between these two nations and I’m confident Slovakia can record back to back wins in this competition in League C. The jump in price from winning compared to winning to nil seems almost too big and that will be my third selection on Monday night.
- Selection: Slovakia Win To Nil
- Best Odds: 8/10 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
