LA Galaxy vs Houston Dynamo Best Bet

LA Galaxy have made a solid start to their league campaign and have collected 20 points from their opening 12 matches, finding themselves just three points off the top of the overall MLS table (they will have played another match before Sunday night). They will be taking on Houston Dynamo, who have been on an indifferent run of form, winning just two of their last six matches. They are currently four points above last place and LA Galaxy will be looking to pile on the misery here.
Houston started the season with three victories in their opening four games in all competitions, but they have looked far less menacing in front of goal than in recent weeks. Goals have also been scarce in La’s games this season, with an average of 2.14 goals in their matches across all competitions.
Four of the last five meetings between these sides have seen under three goals in the match, so I’m not expecting a whole load of goals here. Bet365 have priced under 2.5 goals in the match at 1.90. This bet has also landed in the last four Houston matches, so the price on offer here is very appealing.

Philadelphia Union have made a strong start to their season and they will have every chance of winning the MLS in what promises to be a very competitive season. Union flew out of the blocks, winning five and drawing one in their first six league matches. They have since gone six games in the league without a win; drawing a five of those matches.
Portland Timbers have won just three of their 13 league matches, but they have only been beaten once at home so far. This will give them some confidence coming into this game and they have a good record against Philadelphia.
I expect this game to be tightly contested, and as a result I think these teams could cancel each other out in phases. I’m happy to take under 10 corners in the match at 2.10 with bet365. Portland’s home matches are averaging 8.5 corners per game this season. Union’s corner numbers are higher, with their matches this season averaging 10.31 corners per game, but this has landed in four of the last five meetings between the teams.

Austin FC vs Orlando City Best Bet

Austin FC are at the summit of the table heading into the weekend, but they have LAFC hot on their tails and they only lead them due to their superior goal difference. They face a difficult test in the form of Orlando City, and these two teams have never met before.
Austin lost their last game at home, but prior to that defeat against LA Galaxy, they were looking like a formidable force in front of their home fans. They scored 15 goals in their opening five league matches at home, and I expect them to find the net here.
Orlando have been fairly solid defensively in the league this season, so I don’t feel comfortable backing too many goals in the match. Oscar Pareja’s side are conceding an average of 1.25 goals per game in the league this season and their form has been quite sporadic.
bet365 have Austin FC priced at 2.05 to win the match, and this presents us with some value given their home form and league position. Orlando are no pushovers, but home advantage should be enough to help them overcome Orlando.
