Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente has weighed in on the Ballon d’Or debate, naming Rodri and Dani Carvajal as his top choices for the prestigious award. Rodri, 27, had an exceptional season with Manchester City, cementing his place as one of the world’s best midfielders. The Spanish international played a crucial role in City’s historic treble-winning campaign, securing the Premier League title, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup. In addition, Rodri also helped Spain win the UEFA Nations League, further enhancing his case for the Ballon d’Or.

Dani Carvajal’s Contribution
