Ligue 1 : Most Followed Players on Social Media

Bettingexpert has been tracking the Instagram followers of all of the players in the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season to find out which players and clubs have the largest following and how much they could potentially earn through social media.

Some of the players included in the analysis are Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Marco Asensio, LOSC Lille’s Samuel Umtiti or Olympique Lyon’s Nicolas Tagliafico.

The full list of the players, their Instagram following numbers and potential social media earnings can be found below.

METHODOLOGY
The potential earnings per Instagram post were counted with an industry-accepted standard of 10 dollars per 1000 followers (and converted to EUR), but the final figures can differ depending on individual negotiations
The players' Instagram accounts were collected and analysed
If a player's social media account is private / not available / does not exist, they are marked as "0"
