Deportivo Alaves vs Granada Best Bet
Sat, March 19th, 13:00 (UK Time)
Deportivo Alaves, 19th, are the lowest scorers in Spain with 21 goals in 28 La Liga games, and have failed to find the net in three of their last four games. I expect their clash with Granada will be tight and tense, although I do make the hosts favourites with the crowd pushing them on at Mendizorroza.
Meanwhile, Granada’s new coach Ruben Torrecilla got off to a disappointing start with a 1-0 defeat at home by Elche last weekend, leaving them 17th and only a point above the drop zone.
I’m going to go with under 2.5 goals, given both teams have struggled to find the net and will be desperate not to lose to each other, as rivals in the relegation scrap.
The Andalusians have only scored 11 on the road in 14 games, while Alaves have scored fewer goals at home than any other team in the division, with 10 in 14 games.
- Selection: Under 2.5 goals
- Best odds: 1.66 (10Bet)
- Stakes: 8/10

Elche vs Valencia Best Bet
Sat, March 19th, 15:15 (UK Time)
This is a tough match to call with both sides sitting in mid-table and in reasonable but unspectacular form. Valencia are slightly stronger on paper but Elche have done well at home this season, averaging 1.54 points per game, compared to 0.80 on the road.
Both teams have scored in 71% of Valencia games, higher than any other side in La Liga, so that’s where we’ll look for this one, even though they drew 0-0 at Getafe last weekend. Only some fine goalkeeping from Edgar Badia kept Elche a clean sheet and they conceded 1.5 xG to Granada.
I don’t expect too many goals in this game but also don’t like the lack of value on offer at around 1.66 on under 2.5 goals in this one, especially with dangerous players like Goncalo Guedes and Lucas Boye on the pitch.
- Selection: Yes on BTTS
- Best odds: 1.95 (bet365)
- Stakes: 7/10
Osasuna vs Levante Best Bet
Sat, March 19th, 17:30 (UK Time)
Bottom of the table Levante face mid-table Osasuna desperate for three points to maintain their slim chance of survival. The good news for the Valencian side is that Osasuna are a team that has performed better on the road than at home, by 0.36 points per game.
Given a 4-0 thrashing by Barcelona last weekend, Jagoba Arrasate’s hosts will want to bounce back strongly in front of their fans and I don’t think the visitors will have enough in the tank to get a win, especially if explosive forward Jorge de Frutos is unavailable.
Osasuna’s next game is at Real Betis, a tricky place to go, so they will be targeting this one as a plump fixture to win and pull themselves closer to the 40 point mark. I was impressed with their 1-0 win over Villarreal earlier in March at El Sadar and back them to build on it here.
- Selection: Osasuna to Win
- Best odds: 1.95 (Betway)
- Stakes: 6/10
Rayo Vallecano vs Atletico Madrid Best Bet
Sat, March 19th, 20:00 (UK Time)
Atletico Madrid produced a throwback performance in the Champions League on Tuesday night to beat Manchester United by a single goal, but this season they are usually looser at both ends. Jan Oblak, who has had a tough season, made some supreme saves to deny the English side.
Rayo Vallecano, meanwhile, were capable of netting against the defensively strong Sevilla last weekend at home. Although they did well in restricting league leaders Real Madrid to a 1-0 win at Vallecas, I think there’s some value in backing over 2.5 goals in this game. Joao Felix has been in spectacular form, Antoine Griezmann is getting back to his best and if Diego Simeone decides to rotate then Luis Suarez and Angel Correa are other trustworthy options.
- Selection: Over 2.5 goals
- Best odds: 2.38 (BetVictor)
- Stakes: 6/10

WHAT IS A LA LIGA ACCA?
A La Liga acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A La Liga acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create La Liga accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the La Liga acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
