We have another weekend of La Liga best bets for this Saturday. These games can have a big impact at the bottom of the table, including Levante hosting Espanyol and Elche travelling to Granada. The relegation battle is heating up and there are plenty of mid-table sides that could be sucked down to join the stragglers.

La Liga Best Bets Saturday March 12th

  • Levante vs Espanyol Best Bet – Yes on BTTS
  • Granada vs Elche Best Bet – Draw
  • Villarreal vs Celta Vigo Best Bet – Villarreal -1 (AH)
  • Getafe vs Valencia Best Bet – Valencia, draw no bet

Odds below are best odds available as at 12:00 (UK Time) March 9th 2022. Odds may now differ.

Levante vs Espanyol Best Bet

Saturday, March 12th, 13:00 (UK Time)

Bottom of the table Levante are fighting for their lives and while odds are that they will eventually go down now, it won’t be without a fight after a period of relative stability in La Liga, having previously been a yo-yo side.

It’s tempting to bet on Espanyol to win outright because they are the better team on paper, but they have been in very poor form in 2022, at least until the win over Getafe at the weekend, their first of the calendar year.

Levante, meanwhile, have secured a few surprise results, including a 3-0 thumping of Elche and a 1-0 win over champions Atletico Madrid.

There are usually goals at both ends when they play and the best bet for this one looks like both teams to score. Mid-table Espanyol will consider this a must-win game, to avoid being dragged into the dogfight below.

  • Selection: Yes on BTTS
  • Best odds: 1.75 (Betway)
  • Stakes: 7/10

Granada vs Elche Best Bet

Saturday, March 12th, 15:15 (UK Time)

Granada sacked coach Robert Moreno after last weekend’s defeat by Valencia and will be hoping for a new manager bounce from Ruben Torrecilla, who has been coaching at youth level at the club but has no top-flight experience on the touchline.

Elche showed they were tough and durable against Barcelona last Sunday and it took a dubious handball penalty (one of a string of controversial decisions for similar incidents across the division) awarded against Antonio Barragan late on for the Catalan giants to eventually secure their victory.

Both teams score just over a goal per game on average and although there is the unknown quantity of how Torrecilla will structure his side, it may well be Elche’s defensive set-up which determines how this game pans out, which I can see being a stalemate.

  • Selection: Draw
  • Best odds: 3.40 (bet365)
  • Stakes: 4/10

Villarreal vs Celta Vigo Best Bet

Saturday, March 12th, 17:30 (UK Time)

Villarreal will be looking to build confidence ahead of their Champions League clash with Juventus next Wednesday.

They suffered a shock 1-0 defeat by Osasuna last weekend following their 5-1 battering of Espanyol, and Unai Emery will not allow his team to play so poorly again, although the superb organisation of the Basque club played a big role in denying the Yellow Submarine opportunities.

Celta are, by contrast, weak defensively and I think the hosts will show their superiority at Estadio de la Ceramica. I’m going to back Villarreal with a -1 handicap on the Asian line.

  • Selection: Villarreal -1 (AH)
  • Best odds: 2.28 (Paddy Power)
  • Stakes: 6/10

Getafe vs Valencia Best Bet

Saturday, March 12th, 20:00 (UK Time)

Jose Bordalas is coming back home with Valencia to face his former side Getafe and there is no way the coach will accept defeat at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Valencia are riding high on confidence after earning passage to the Copa del Rey final and two consecutive triumphs in La Liga, ending a bad run of form that saw them go seven games without a win.

The team have improved defensively of late and it will be a solidity-first strategy from Bordalas on Saturday night, especially with attacking left-back Jose Gaya injured and his replacement Toni Lato also a doubt.

Getafe are without a win in four games and so I make Valencia slight favourites, with the insurance of a draw no bet.

  • Selection: Valencia to win, draw no bet
  • Best odds: 2.38 (Unibet)
  • Stakes: 6/10

What is a La Liga Acca?

A  La Liga acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A La Liga acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create La Liga accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the La Liga acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
