- Girona vs Real Betis Tip 3: Savio to Score Anytime
Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 1: Pressure applied on Barcelona
Spain, La Liga, Saturday, Sunday 31st, 15:15 (UK)
There’s still work to do to ensure Girona Champions League spot, especially after a 1-0 loss to Getafe, but back at home they’ll be confident they can return to winning ways.
Unbeaten since losing to Real Madrid in September 2023, the hosts have been formidable in front of their own supporters. With eight wins and two draws from their last ten matches, which includes a win over Atletico Madrid and 5-1 hammering of Sevilla, it’s hard to ignore their current price.
Betis head into this fixture on the back of two away defeats to Atletico Madrid and Ray Vallecano. They’ve struggled on the road this season, winning just three of their last ten.
One of which was against Villanovense in the Copa del Rey, while victories over Mallorca and Cadiz are expected for a club of Betis’ size.
With home form almost on par with Real Madrid and better than Barcelona’s, Girona are capable of matching most in this division, and they should comfortably sweep Betis aside as they continue to wrestle for second place with Barcelona.
- Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 1: Girona to Win
- Best Odds: 1.75

- Stake:8/10
Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 2: Hosts to turn it on once more
In Girona’s last ten matches, they have only failed to score two goals or more on three occasions. In fact, they’ve managed to put the ball in the back of the net at least three times in six of those.
Although Artem Dovbyk has been in phenomenal form this campaign scoring 14 La Liga goals, he hasn’t scored in his last eight matches. However, a return to the scoresheet for Ukraine vs Bosnia would have done his confidence wonders during the recent international break.
However, during this period Girona has still picked up vital points thanks to goals being shared amongst the team.
Savio has scored eight goals as well as producing seven assists, while Viktor Tsygankov has six to his name. He too, scored for Ukraine in the international break and returned to Girona with a spring in his step.
With Girona’s excellent goalscoring run at home and with Betis’ defence showing vulnerability on the road in recent weeks, the hosts can wrap this one up in style.
- Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 2: Girona Over 1.5 Goals
- Best Odds: 1.66
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 3: Back the Brazilian
As Girona’s Ukrainian striker continues to draw blanks up top, it’s hard to not recommend Savio to step up in his place.
The young Brazilian recently made his national team debut vs England after his incredible season in Spain. Savio has lit up La Liga with his trickery, assists, but more importantly – goals.
His direct approach and willingness to burst into the box with his runs inside the full-back have almost become a trademark part of his game – and one which defenders continuously struggle to cope with.
Possessing plenty of pace, intelligence to time his runs to perfection and with a cool head in front of goal, Savio has unlocked plenty of defences and caught the eye this campaign.
Having scored three goals in his last two home matches, which included a brace vs Rayo Vallecano, there’s only one goalscorer I want to roll the dice with in this fixture.
- Girona vs Real Betis Prediction 3: Savio to Score Anytime
- Best Odds: 3.50
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 6/10

Girona vs Real Betis Team News and Possible Lineups: Avila back for visitors
Girona don’t have any new injury concerns to worry about, although defender David Lopez is the most likely to return to the pitch out of those currently sat out on the sidelines.
Betis will welcome back forward Chimy Avila, who returns for this fixture after missing out on the trip to Rayo Vallecano after his red card vs Villarreal.
Cedric Bakambu, however, is still not fit enough and the 32-year-old will sit out of this fixture, much to the frustration of Betis’ fans who are desperate to see him back in the starting XI..
Girona possible starting lineup: Gazzaniga; Gutierrez, Blind, Lopez, Garcia, Portu, Garcia, Martin, Savio, Tsygankov, Dovbyk
Real Betis possible starting lineup: Silva; Miranda, Riad, Pezzella, Ruibal, Johnny, Rodriguez, Perez, Fekir, Fornals, Willian Jose
