Austria vs France Best Bet
Nations League, Friday 10th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
France head to Ernst Happel Stadion in Austria as they look for their first win in the competition. Didier Deschamps’ side lost to Denmark and most recently were held to a 1-1 draw in Split against Croatia.
The hosts have picked up three points from the first two matches against Croatia and Denmark which saw them score four goals in that time and I fancy goals once again when these sides meet up on Friday.
It was a surprise to see over 2.50 match goals priced at odds against, with both teams to score available at 1.91 on various sites given the attacking quality the away side possesses in particular.
The French have seen BTTS bank in both games so far and you’d always fancy them to get themselves on the scoresheet given their hugely talented squad.
Rangnick’s Austria have scored in both games and have conceded in one, they kept a clean sheet against Croatia despite conceding 15 shots on the night with goalkeeper Heinz Linder forced to make four saves.
The Austrians know this is as tough as it can get so Ralf Rangnick will want a stellar performance from his side as they know France have not performed up to standards in the early stages.
- Selection: Both Teams to Score – Yes
- Best Odds: 1.91 (William Hill)
- Stakes: 8/10
Albania vs Israel Best Bet
Nations League, Friday 10th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
Air Albania Stadium is the destination as Albania welcomes Israel in League B, both sides opened their Nations League accounts with draws which saw every side score.
Iceland were the opponents for both sides in their first game, Edoardo Reja’s side drew 1-1 whereas Alon Hazan’s Israel took part in an entertaining 2-2 draw in Haifa.
Goals again are priced fairly well with the goal line set at 2.25 on bet365 with both sides to score at even money.
These nations have matched up four times in their history with all of those coming between 2016 – 2018, nine goals were scored across those meetings with 26 or more shots being recorded in all of those.
Israel in World Cup Qualification were right amongst the goals, 44 goals were scored across their 10 matches as they scored 23 and conceded 21 in total.
Given all of the last nine competitive games involving the visitors have seen three goals or more the 2.25 Asain goal line looks a great bet and is certainly something I’ll be getting behind.
Albania weren’t quite up to Israel’s extreme goalscoring numbers in qualifying but they still averaged 2.40 match goals per 90 across the 10 games in World Cup Qualifying however they had a much trickier group than Israel.
- Selection: Over 2.25 Goals
- Best Odds: 2.10 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10
Andorra vs Liechtenstein Best Bet
Nations League, Friday 10th June, 19:45 (UK Time)
I’m keen to get onside with a bet builder approach as the Andorra and Liechtenstein battle it out at the Estadi Nacional in a game that very few neutrals will be interested in which comes at little surprise.
With the clear lack of quality amongst the sides it’s made me lean toward a negative approach meaning back a lack of goals and corners will be present on Friday night.
I had a look back at the last Nations League competition where both sides played four games apiece against relatively similar opposition. There were 10 or less corners taken in seven games from eight in total.
More recently the corner statistics are still just as low, Andorra have taken just three corner kicks in total from their opening two games in this current competition whilst Liechtenstein have managed one more in three.
Although it’s tricky to get any meaningful stats from previous H2H’s, both matches between the sides finished with exactly a single goal so it’s evident that these games aren’t eye-catching in the slightest.
I expect this game will have a similar outcome, a lack of attacking threat and most likely a dull affair which sits perfectly with our bet builder selection as we back unders in both markets which isn’t always an easy watch however these nations offer very little on the pitch.
- Selection: Under 2.50 Goals / Under 11 Corners
- Best Odds: 1.80 (bet365)
- Stakes: 8/10

WHAT IS A FOOTBALL ACCA?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create football accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
