FA Cup Best Bets: Saturday February 5th 2022
I’ve got five FA Cup best bets for this coming set of 4th round fixtures. We’ve got some intriguing matches in the world’s oldest football competition. The FA Cup has a few interesting all-Premier League clashes as well as some major mismatches. The standout tie is probably the 5th best side in England travelling to a team in the sixth tier as West Ham face Kidderminster Harriers. We’ve got FA Cup best bets for that and four other matches in this article:
- Kidderminster vs West Ham Best Bet
- Chelsea vs Plymouth Best Bet
- Wolves vs Norwich Best Bet
- Manchester City vs Fulham Best Bet
- Everton vs Brentford Best Bet
Selection 1: Kidderminster vs West Ham Best Bet
One of the standout fixtures of the round sees non-league side Kidderminster Harriers welcome Premier League high-flyers West Ham. The Hammers are currently 5th in England’s top tier, over a hundred places above the hosts.
I can see an upset coming in this match. The hosts are a tough side to beat at home, they’ve not lost any of their last 10 home matches – that includes the 3rd round tie against Championship side Reading which they won 2-1. The Hammers have had a few weeks off which may cause some rustiness, especially in the early parts of the match. If the Harriers can get a goal in the first half it could be trouble for West Ham. I’m backing the hosts plus a goal and a half.

Selection 2: Chelsea vs Plymouth Best Bet
Chelsea face another lower league side in the 4th round of the FA Cup after demolishing Chesterfield in the 3rd. They now face a slightly tougher test in Plymouth. The League One side have been going well this season chasing the play-offs but their form has dipped in recent weeks. They’re conceding a lot of goals, something that will surely continue at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have a couple of Premier League matches coming up but they have the strength in depth to play a second-string team here and win comfortably. I fancy over 3.5 goals in this match with the Blues to get at least four and maybe letting one in at the other end.
Selection 3: Wolves vs Norwich Best Bet
I’m going for over on goals between Wolves and Norwich. That may seem unwise considering these are two of the three lowest-scoring teams in the Premier League this season. I’m going against that considering the recent changes in their goalscoring output. Wolves have had over 2.5 goals in each of their last three matches.
Norwich have scored six in their last four matches. They scored a grand total of zero in their five games before then. I think over on goals is probably a little likelier than those odds suggest which represents value that’s why I’m going over 2.5 total match goals.
Selection 4: Manchester City vs Fulham Best Bet
Speaking of goals, we should expect a fair few between Manchester City and Fulham. Here we have the second-top scorers in the Premier League against the top scorers in the Championship. Goals are the expectation whenever Manchester City play, especially at home. Pep Guardiola’s men have found the net 14 times in their last three matches at the Etihad. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see another high-scoring game here.
They now face the best attacking side in England’s second tier. Fulham are five points clear of Blackburn in 2nd and about 20 goals clear of them in terms of attacking output. Unbelievably, they’ve scored six goals or more in three of their last five matches. 23 goals in total for Marco Silva’s side. I feel pretty confident about over 3.5 goals in this match.

Selection 5: Everton vs Brentford Best Bet
That leaves Everton vs Brentford as the final of five matches in the FA Cup. This one takes place on Saturday and sees new Toffees boss Frank Lampard take charge of his first match. I’m expecting a good atmosphere at Goodison Park and a convincing win for the hosts.
Everton are due a good result after a run of only two wins in 15 matches under Rafael Benitez and Duncan Ferguson. They’ve got some key players coming back into the team and have reinforced over the January window.
They now face a struggling Brentford side. The Bees have lost seven of their last nine games in all competitions. Their away form has fallen off a cliff in recent months. They started the season strongly on the road but have dropped off considerably. They’ve only won once on the road since October. I don’t expect that to change here so I’m backing Everton to win in 90 minutes.

What is a Football Acca?
A football acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A football acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create FA Cup accas which is what we have created here.If one of these selections loses then the football acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
