With a first-leg draw now in the history books, it is still all to play for between Bayern Munich and Salzburg. The away goals rule has also been scrapped for this season so neither team has the advantage going into Tuesday night’s 2nd leg.

Therefore, full focus can certainly be afforded to the visit of Salzburg. Although they themselves are top of the Austrian Bundesliga – by an eye-watering margin of 18 points – one does have to account for differing levels of competition across the German border.
Opposition that included Altach last Saturday and after cruising to a 4-0 win at the Red Bull Arena, it will have given Salzburg manager Matthias Jaissle and his players a huge boost before Tuesday.

Liverpool vs Inter Best Bet
After picking up a 2-0 win in the San Siro, Liverpool are certainly in the box seat when it comes to their Champions League pairing with Inter. The job is half-done so now it is time for the Merseyside men to complete the task at hand.
A task that if completed, will only take them further on the road to Paris and Liverpool are currently the second favourites in the outright market, many expect them to at least reach UEFA’s showpiece event at the end of the season.

Simone Inzaghi’s men were outfoxed by a Liverpool side who have already found joy in the San Siro this season. They beat Inter’s crosstown rivals Milan both home and away in the group stage, they will look for the same pair of wins in the Round of 16.
An outcome that does look largely likely, even though Liverpool were perhaps fortunate to get the better of West Ham on Saturday night. If they have learned one lesson from victory, it is not to be too cocky when in charge of the game.
