We’re now approaching the business end of the Bundesliga season and as such a number of clubs will be going into this weekend’s game determined to avoid defeat before they consider any high-scoring victories.

There are plenty of high-profile clashes that could prove to be extremely tight but that should stop us from picking out some tasty bets.

Wolfsburg v Arminia Bielefeld Best Bet

Saturday, April 9th, 14:30 (UK time)

There’s little doubt that when Wolfsburg host Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday it will be a clash between two of the Bundesliga’s most out-of-form sides, with just five victories between them from the last 10 match days.

Indeed, Florian Kohfeldt’s Wolves have been dragged back into the relegation battle after three consecutive defeats which have largely come about through a lack of goals from Wolfsburg, who have only managed two from their last three games.

Fortunately for the hosts, they welcome a team that looks just as hopeless on the pitch. Bielefeld are not only on a run of five games without a win in the Bundesliga, but Frank Kramer’s side have also failed to score a single goal in their last four away games in the German top flight.

This should be a tasty six-pointer at the bottom of the table and it remains to be seen which of these out-of-form sides can claim the win, but we certainly should expect goals from this encounter.

  • Selection: Under 2.5 goals
  • Odds: 1.90 (Bet365)
  • Stake: 8/10

Koln v Mainz Best Bet

Saturday, April 9th, 14:30 (UK time)

There are a number of reasons why Koln should be full of confidence when they host Mainz on Saturday.

For a start, the club will be welcoming star striker Anthony Modeste back to the side, whose 15 league goals have made up no less than 40 percent of the club’s overall goals in the Bundesliga this season. Steffen Baumgart’s side certainly aren’t the same team without the French talisman

Another reason why Koln should be confident is because Mainz have looked simply terrible on the road this season. Not only are Bo Svensson’s side winless from nine away league games this season but they’ve picked up only eight points across the whole season. Only Greuther Furth have a poorer away record in the German top flight.

As such, this clash should be one in which Koln will confidently lay claim to all three points.

  • Selection: Koln win
  • Odds: 2.45 (Bet365)
  • Stake: 8/10

Hertha Berlin v Union Berlin Best Bets

Saturday, April 9th, 17:30 (UK time)

The old saying goes that form goes out the window in a derby and there’s little doubt that both Hertha and Union will be hoping for that ahead of Saturday’s Berlin derby.

Between them the capital sides have won just five games in the last 10 match days, with Hertha losing six of their last seven games while their rivals have now lost their last four games on the road in the German top flight.

What’s perhaps even more troubling for any neutrals looking to enjoy the game is that both sides have struggled for goals this season. Only Arminia Bielefeld have scored fewer goals than Hertha and Union in the second half of this Bundesliga season. This should be a tight, nervy affair between two rivals but let’s not expect too many goals.

  • Selection: Under 2.5 goals
  • Odds: 1.73 (Unibet)
  • Stake: 9/10

WHAT IS A BUNDESLIGA ACCA?

A  Bundesliga acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Bundesliga acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Bundesliga accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Bundesliga acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
