There is that one final moment left to achieve, as UConn and Purdue have reached the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Finals. The Huskies or the Boilermakers will hoist the Championship hardware on Monday night in the Arizona desert as the campaign concludes. Let’s see Ej Garr’s Huskies vs Boilermakers prediction!
The Favoured Huskies carry a 36 -3 record into the final game, and a second straight National Title is on the line. Purdue comes into the Final game with an equally impressive 34 – 4 record, although they are chasing team history on Monday night.
The Boilermakers will be searching for their first-ever Championship, while the Huskies are chasing title number six in program history.
UCONN HUSKIES VS PURDUE BOILERMAKERS PREDICTION and Betting Picks
Odds are available as of April 8th, 2024. Odds may now differ.
The UConn Huskies and Purdue Boilermakers earned double-digit victories in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals.
The Huskies tied the 1985-88 Villanova Wildcats by covering against Alabama on Saturday, and now they can set a presence of 12-straight ATS victories in the NCAA Men’s Tourney.
UConn only has to win this game by 7 points to cover the handicap, but Purdue has other plans for the future. Zach Edey was undoubtedly the most dominant player in the two semifinal games played on Saturday.
Edey scored 40 points and grabbed 16 rebounds against the Vols in the Regional Final, and the Senior center put up 20 again against N.C. State in the semifinals. Purdue has played seven post-season games, including the Big Ten Tourney, and Edey has put up a double-double in every game.
The battle between Edey and UConn’s Donovan Clingham makes this game an instant classic that is must-see TV!
Purdue holding N.C. State to 50 points was also the most impressive part of the semifinals. I will admit they got me because I had the Wolfpack to cover, so I need a win here.
I can’t get past the fact that UConn has five players averaging double-digits in the post-season, and this run of covering the handicap is insane. I can’t fade UConn, even though I respect the hell out of Zach Edey and Purdue.
Give me the Huskies to find a way to remain the most dominant program we have ever seen by covering all 12 games in two seasons at the NCAA Men’s Tournament. Our Huskies vs Boilermakers prediction is for the Huskies to cover the spread.

UConn Huskies Form & News
What could be bigger than having a chance to cover 12 straight NCAA Tournament games en route to two consecutive National titles? Dan Hurley knows he has a loaded team with presence inside to handle Zach Edey, and enough scorers to tackle any team.
Donovan Clingan is averaging 15 points and 9 boards in the post-season, so he will help limit all of the second-chance opportunities for Putdue. The Boilermakers ate the Wolfpack alive on the offensive glass in the semifinals, and UConn won’t let that happen.
Purdue Boilermakers Form & News:
Zach Edey and Lance Jones came back for the senior seasons for this moment. The on-court announcers spoke to Edey after the game, and you heard him say as much after beating the Wolfpack in the semifinals.
Edey said that we didn’t come back to do anything but take home that piece of hardware that will be on the sidelines during tonight’s game.
Sophomore Fletcher Loyer is also to thank for this run to the finals, as he and Edey are the only Boilermakers averaging double-digits in the post-season.
