Both the Thunder and Bucks will have homecourt advantage in the first round, but there is still competition for seeding at the top of both conferences. Thunder vs Bucks Prediction Win Probability and odds have been heavily impacted by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s calf injury earlier this week – one of the best basketball players in the world is sidelined for at least the remainder of the regular season.

Even with the NBA regular season drawing to a close, our Expert Insights are still packed with basketball betting tips. Tipster Sam Cox has nailed his last five tips and will be looking to continue that run tonight.

Thunder vs Bucks Prediction and Picks: Backing the Under

  •         Selection: Under 223.5 total points
  •         Best Odds: 1.91
  •         Bookmaker: Bet365
  •         Stakes: 2/10

Odds are as of April 10th 2024. Odds may now differ.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been a profitable team to back on the over, in general, this year, but they have bucked that trend when favored at home. Just 14 of their 33 home games as a favorite have hit the over.

The recent history of these two teams facing off has seen a lot of low-scoring games. Over the last three seasons, the majority of games have had 223 or fewer points. Milwaukee’s offense is weakened without Giannis Antetokounmpo, but their offense is also not as dangerous. Antetokounmpo’s size and athleticism would have been a real asset against a small Thunder team.

Milwaukee Bucks News, Injury Report, Schedule Numerous Absences for Doc Rivers

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence is the biggest story ahead of this game. Winning or losing at Paycom Center doesn’t mean too much for the Bucks, but the health of the two-time MVP will have a considerable impact on the postseason.

Milwaukee has won its last two to all but lock up the two seed. With Philadelphia and Miami lurking in the Play-In Tournament at the time of writing, it remains to be seen if the two seed is a desirable outcome for the Bucks.

They are clearly taking it easy to close out the regular year – Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez are questionable, while Damian Lillard is doubtful.

Oklahoma City Thunder News, Injury Report, Schedule: Finishing the Season Strong

Oklahoma City are in a similar situation. They are avoiding the Nuggets in the first round, but the Western Conference standings mean they cannot manipulate their seeding to dodge Denver in the second round and it’s unclear who they will face if they land second or third. The Pelicans, Kings, Lakers, Suns and Warriors are still jostling for position.

Coming off three straight wins, the Thunder look like they will keep playing hard until the buzzer at the end of game 82. Luguentz Dort sat out Wednesday’s game against the Spurs to rest, but there are no other players on the Thunder’s injury report.

Look for the Thunder to try and get this wrapped up with time to spare if the Bucks are without Middleton, Lopez and Lillard.

Thunder vs Bucks H2H: Bucks Have Narrow Edge

The Bucks have won 77 of the 150 regular-season meetings between the two teams. Oklahoma City has also lost the last six matchups, but it’s worth noting that the majority of those have been during their rebuild. Of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo has played a major role in Milwaukee’s recent dominance of this matchup.

Only two of the last eight contests have gone over this points total.
