Seattle Storm vs Los Angeles Sparks Prediction, Picks, Odds, News, Injury Report: +225 Odds Same-Game Parlay for June 11th 2024

The 7-4 Seattle Storm play host to the 4-7 Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night as one of three WNBA games on the schedule. Seattle is favored by 10.5 points and the game total is set at 158.5 (one point lower than my winning over between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun on Monday). Our focus here is on a Storm vs Sparks same-game parlay, however, and there’s plenty of value to be found.

A win for the Storm could move them level with the Minnesota Lynx on eight wins (Minnesota is facing the Las Vegas Aces tonight). The Sparks are trying to pull away from the league’s bottom three teams.

The WNBA campaign is underway, and our Expert Insights are stacked with basketball betting tips. Expert Sam Cox will have his best bets throughout the regular season.

Storm vs Sparks Prediction and Picks: 3.25 Tuesday Night Wager

  • Cameron Brink under 6.5 rebounds

Bet Builder Odds: 3.25/+225

There is a chasm between these teams. Seattle’s net rating is 18.2 points better than Los Angeles’ over their last seven games. The Storm are playing well at both ends of the floor, while the Sparks have been up-and-down on offense, and their defense has not been as good as expected.

Jewell Loyd has been nigh-on unstoppable this season. She’s averaging over 20 points per game and has dropped 25 in each of her last two outings. Putting up 50 points even while going a combined three-for-14 from downtown speaks to her scoring ability – we are comfortable taking the over against a Sparks team ranking eighth in opponent points per game.

We’re also taking Cameron Brink’s under on rebounds to get us to 3.25. Seattle is fifth in rebounding rate for the season. The Storm have several good to great rebounders, while Brink is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and has gone under this line in six of her last seven games. My storm vs sparks prediction is for the Storm to win.

Seattle Storm News, Injury Report, Schedule: Core Three Shining Early On

Seattle had won six games in a row before their loss to the Minnesota Lynx last time out. Playing at a high pace and with a locked-in defense, Seattle looks capable of challenging the league’s elite teams. They are fourth in net rating at +13 over the last seven games.

Rarely turning the ball over and competing on the glass, there aren’t many weaknesses with this Storm team. The triumvirate of Jewell Loyd, Nneka Ogwumike, and Skylar Diggins-Smith has been as impactful as expected. There is a clear dependence on Loyd, but that’s to be expected with a player of her talents, and there are no durability concerns – of players to play 10 or more games, only three have averaged more minutes than Loyd.

Los Angeles Sparks News, Injury Report, Schedule: Reliance on Hamby & Brown

Azura Stevens is the only player unavailable for the Los Angeles Sparks. Los Angeles has won back-to-back games following blowouts at the hands of the Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury. While there has been plenty of attention on rookie Cameron Brink, Dearica Hamby and Lexie Brown have been Los Angeles’ two most important players.

They are -25.8 per 100 possessions with Hamby off the floor – the two-time All-Star is the fifth-highest scorer in the league. The Sparks have struggled for efficiency on the offensive end all season, ranking below average in true shooting.

Storm vs Sparks H2H: Recent History Favours Storm

The Seattle Storm have a narrow 44-42 advantage over the Los Angeles Sparks in the all-time regular-season series. Seattle has lost nine of the 14 playoff matchups, however.

The Sparks have not won a regular-season series against the Storm since 2019. Seattle has won eight of the last 12 games between these two teams in the regular season.
