Olympiacos vs Milano Prediction and Picks: Homecourt Matters
- Selection: Olympiacos -8
- Best Odds: 1.91
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stakes: 6/10
Odds updated om October 14th 2024.
Home teams have had the upper hand when these teams have met over the last couple of seasons and there’s no reason for that to change here. It’s tempting to take the under with Olympiacos’ physical defense and Milano’s inconsistent offense – Milano scoring under 73.5 points is worth backing at 1.87.
We would also be tempted by Olympiacos to cover the 8.5-point spread and under 155.5 total points at 4.00.
Home advantage ultimately makes it impossible to look past Olympiacos for this game. They are clearly the superior team – we haven’t seen anything from Milano this year to indicate they can keep this one close.

Olympiacos News, Injury Report, Schedule: High Ceiling
Several additions in the offseason have elevated Olympiacos’ ceiling in 2024-25 season, but there will inevitably be a period of adaptation. Renowned for an elite defense, the Greek team exhibited their high standards on that end of the floor by holding Zalgiris to 68 points. They kept Aris to 72 in a 30-point win on Sunday, too.
Summer signing Sasha Vezenkov starred with 22 points in the win over Aris. The team has more perimeter shooting in previous years, giving them an insurance policy on the rare occasion their defence is not up to standard.
Milano News, Injury Report, Schedule: Slow Start to the Season
Turning the ball over more than any other team in the EuroLeague, Milano are 1-1 but could easily have been 0-2. They needed a fourth-quarter comeback to get a win against Paris and were thoroughly outplayed by Monaco.
With Nikola Mirotic held to nine points, they only beat Brescia by three at the weekend. A six-point loss to Trieste at the end of last month set off some alarm bells in Milan.
Olympiacos vs Milano H2H: Well-Matched In 2020s
Both teams won at home when these teams clashed in the EuroLeague last season. We have to go all the way back to November 2021 for the last time either team won a head-to-head on the road.
Olympiacos’ three-game winning streak from November 2021 to January 2023 is the last time anyone won consecutive competitive games.
