The Euroleague playoffs continue, and I’ve got  4 Olimpia Milano vs Anadolu Efes Bet Builder Tips ready for Game 2. It was a blowout victory for Efes in Game 1, as Olimpia had their worst attacking night of the season. I expect Messina’s squad to bounce back tonight and use their second home game in a row to get back into the series. Take a look at my selections & analysis in the article below.

Olimpia Milano were one of the best Euroleague teams during the regular season, finishing 3rd in the standings with 19 wins and 9 losses. They were a very tough defensive side, allowing just 71.6 points per game and keeping opponents to just 43.8% from the field and 33.5% from beyond the arc. Milan weren’t exactly known as an elite attacking force, with averages of 73.2 points scored per game along with 15 assists and a 3-point percentage of 35.4%. However, they played hard each night out and earned their spot in the top 3 in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the defending Euroleague champions Anadolu Efes have had a very disappointing season so far, finishing 6th in the standings after going all the way last year. They had 16 wins and 12 losses in the regular season and finished with a 93-85 loss to Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade. Efes had one of the best offences in the league, averaging 82.5 points per game and shooting 37.1% from beyond the 3-point line. However, their defence has been subpar all year, allowing an average of 80.1 points per game a 3-point percentage of 36.7%.

Milano and Efes faced each other twice this season, and Ettore Messina’s squad won both encounters by an aggregate result of 158-145. Milano won both encounters due to their defensive effort, leaving Efes to pick up the pieces both times. However, the tables turned in the first game of the playoffs, as Ergin Ataman’s boys celebrated a 64-48 victory at Mediolanum Forum on Tuesday night. How did that happen?

Well, Milano had by far their worst offensive night of the season, shooting 30.9% from the field and 28.6% from beyond the arc. They also made just 6 of their 12 free throws and committed 15 turnovers. Milano scored just 18 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, which was more than enough to give Efes a decisive lead. On the other side, Micic and Larkin both chipped in with 16 points apiece, and the team was able to raise their defensive effort enough to bother their opponents. But will we see more of the same in Game 2, or will Olimpia Milano be able to bounce back?

Milano had a nightmare game last time around, but they are still playing at home and they already beat this team twice this season. They are slight underdogs tonight and backing them definitely brings some solid value.

Efes went under 75 points in 2 of their 3 games against Milano this year. Even in their blowout victory last time around, they only scored 64 points, and I’m backing Milano’s defence to keep them under once again.

Rodrigues has averaged 4.4 assists for Milano this year. The team only netted 8 assists last time around, and Rodriguez finished with 0. Surprising, to say the least. I’m backing them to bounce back tonight, and Rodriguez should get back to his usual form. He gets a lot of touches each time he steps on the court, and the 3.5 assist line looks reachable.

Kyle Hines is a solid rebounder, averaging 5.0 rebounds per game in the Euroleague. He grabbed 4 boards in Game 1 in just 16 minutes, and if Messina decides to get him back to his usual 23-minute playing time, he should easily go over.
