The last two teams to reach the Final Four will be decided today and our resident NCAA basketball expert Ej Garr is on fire of late. It has been a tournament full of surprises and upsets and two more significant underdogs have chances to provide us with thrilling finishes. Miami takes on Kansas in the first game of the day and Ej is once again thinking underdog and suggesting you take the Canes and the points. In the second Elite 8 affair of the night, the St. Peters Peacocks take on the Tar Heels of North Carolina as neither program was expected to be at this stage of the event but here they are! Ej believes the Peacocks are to be taken seriously so we suggest you do the same.

March Madness Best Bets Sunday, March 27th

  • Kansas vs Miami: Miami +6.5 points
  • North Carolina vs St. Peters: +8.5 points

Odds as of 3 pm March 26th, 2022. Odds may now differ.

Kansas vs Miami Best Bet

Sunday, 18:20 (UK time)

It’s McGusty in the Windy City playing in a Hurricane! Did you ever think we would be using that verbiage to describe a basketball team? Well, here we are in Chicago, Illinois and Kameron McGusty is setting the tone for a Miami Hurricanes program that is playing in their first-ever Elite 8 game in the NCAA Tournament.

Canes Head Coach Jim Larrañagawas beside himself in the post-game interview after the Canes win over Iowa State talking about the 4 levels of commitment he is driving home with his kids. Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual aspects of life are being applied to the approach of this program, and the importance of team spirit is the most influential of them all.

On the other hand, Kansas and Head Coach Bill Self have been carrying quiet confidence all season long. With the win over Providence in the Sweet 16, the Jayhawks became the winningest program in the history of NCAA basketball. Kansas secured their 2.354th program win on Friday night earning them the distinction but Coach Self was quoted after the game saying he was just happy that it means they are still alive in the big dance.

Yes, I have posted that I like Kansas to win this tournament at 13.00 but Miami will still give the Jayhawks a fight to the end so we expect another close affair to take place for the right to cut down the nets and land in the Final Four.

  • Selection: Miami +6.5 points
  • Best odds: 1,90 (Bet365)
  • Stakes: 4/10

North Carolina vs St. Peters Best Bet

Sunday, 21:05 UK time

St. Peters couldn’t possibly do it again, right? How could the Peacocks lose on Friday when it was National Peacock Day? They didn’t and here they are again as significant underdogs being told they have no chance to win against the Tar Heels.

Let’s keep in mind that no 15-seed in the history of the tournament has reached this stage of the event so you can call it playing with house money but the cards are still on the table and there is still more to play for. North Carolina has also had to deal with being told they weren’t good enough to be here so we actually have a pair of programs that feel like anything can happen now.

Well, anything can happen and it was hard to not be impressed by what the Peacocks did to Purdue on Friday night. Purdue was the last of the Big Ten programs to exit the dance and now all 9 of the conference’s teams that got here are back home. We knew that would happen if you have been following our exclusive coverage of the tournament because the Big Ten was heavily overrated by the so-called experts coming into the post-season.

The Tar Heels are playing in their 52nd NCAA Tournament and are now competing in their 27th Elite 8 game in program history. I don’t think we need to compare these two teams when it pertains to success in the post-season because we all know that St. Peters has never even seen the Sweet 16 much less a chance at a Final Four? Wait, did we just say that St. Peters is a win away from an appearance in the Final Four? Pinch us!

  • Selection: St. Peters +8.5
  • Best odds: 1,87 (BWin)
  • Stakes: 4/10
