Richmond vs Providence Best Bet

The Richmond Spiders advanced to round 2 after a convincing upset win over the Iowa Hawkeyes and now they hope to follow it up with another upset on Saturday. As mentioned in Thursday’s article, the experience of this program has come in handy at the right time of the year.
A lot of folks got down on Providence because of their early exit from the Big East Conference Tournament but they rebounded nicely in their first-round win over a tough South Dakota State program who was riding a 21-game win streak into the tournament.
The line setters are giving the Spiders a few points and I once again expect them to provide an outright upset of the Friars.
However, when the line setters give us points it is always a bright idea to not get greedy and just be happy with a cashed ticket in hand. The Moneyline offer isn’t all that exciting enough to chase @ 2.35 so settle for the points!
- Selection: Richmond +3 points
- Odds: 1.91 (William Hill)
- Stakes: 4/10

New Mexico State vs Arkansas Best Bet
Sunday, March 20th 00:40 (UK time)
The New Mexico State Aggies are a big zero! What that really means is they have a dude who wears the number 0 and if you really want to talk about a stud with confidence you should see his game. Allen went off for 37 points in the Aggies’ first-round win and his post-game interview was one to watch. Allen told everyone who would listen that “if you want to take out the Aggies you have to come and take us out!”
As Allen will likely steal the show again, the Razorbacks represent the SEC and barely escaped with a win over Vermont to start their tournament. Stanley Umude was one of two Hogs to play all 40 minutes of the game and he led the way with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Overall, Pig Suey had 4 players produce double-digit efforts although they really only played 6 guys all night. There is little to no depth for Arkansas Head Coach Eric Musselman to call off the bench other than Devonte Davis who provided a 14-point spark in the opening round win.
The Razorbacks did almost all of their damage this season at home and one thing they did not do well was travel. Arkansas has a 9 – 7 combined road neutral-site record while New Mexico State shows a 9 – 3 road record with a 5 – 1 showing at neutral sites.
- Selection: New Mexico State +6.5
- Odds: 1.91 (William Hill)
- Stakes: 4/10
