Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics

The Milwaukee Bucks are having a solid all-around season, sitting 3rd in the east with 21 wins and 13 losses. Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors

The Phoenix Suns are the top team in the Western Conference at the moment with 26 wins and just 5 losses on the season. They’ve won 8 of their last 10 games, are riding a 5-game winning streak, and coming off a 113-101 win over the OKC Thunder. But as good as this team is, their record ATS in home games is at 52.9%, and they don’t cover as much as one would expect from a team that made it to the NBA finals last year. The last time they faced the Warriors, Steve Kerr’s side celebrated a  dominant 118-96 win.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors are cruising through the NBA season even without Klay Thompson, and with 26 wins and 6 losses, they are 2nd in the Western Conference standings. They have the best defence in the league that allows just 101.1 points per game, whilst also remaining one of the most dangerous teams from beyond the arc. The Phoenix Suns rely a lot on 2-pointers and mid-range jumpers, whilst the Warriors never hesitate to let it go for 3, and have a very dynamic and free-flowing offence. The Warriors are one of the best teams ATS this year, covering in 66.7% of their games, and their style of play should allow them to keep the Suns at bay in this one.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Brooklyn Nets

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a very difficult season so far, and their troubles simply aren’t ending. Their last game saw them losing 138-110 to the San Antonio Spurs, and they are now 6th in the west and riding a 4-game losing streak. They have been the worst-ranked offensive team in the league in the last 5 games with a rating of just 97.5. They are also the worst team in the NBA ATS this year, covering the spread in just 36.4% of their games. On top of that, their injury/health&safety issues have really set them back, and they are struggling to find consistency.

The Brooklyn Nets have remained atop the western conference with 21 wins and 9 losses, despite struggling mightily with injuries and health&safety protocols. A record 13 players are on their injury report at the moment but after a week’s rest from action, they should be getting a lot of their top guys back, including Kevin Durant who is at ‘Game Time Decision’ due to an ankle injury.
