Fenerbahce welcome Crvena Zvezda to Ulker Sports and Event Hall for their EuroLeague matchup on Tuesday night.

Looking at their head-to-head record and recent performances, we have analyzed the bet365 betting markets to deliver a Fenerbahce vs Crvena Zvezda prediction.

Previewing round three of the 2024-25 EuroLeague, our Expert Insights are stacked with basketball betting tips. Expert Sam Cox will have his best bets throughout the regular season.

Fenerbahce vs Crvena Zvezda (short names) Prediction and Picks: Backing the Dogs

  • Selection: Crvena Zvezda +7.5
  • Best Odds: 1.95
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stakes: 5/10

Odds updated on October 14th 2024.

Fenerbahce are favored by 7.5 points at bet365 despite both teams coming into this game with a 2-0 record. These two teams occupy the bottom two spots in the EuroLeague pace, so we would be tempted to take the under if Crvena Zvezda hadn’t shot 40% from three in four consecutive games.

The risk of Fenerbahce grabbing a bucket load of offensive rebounds also puts us off taking the under here.

We are going to roll with Crvena Zvezda’s three-point shooting. They are going to be overmatched on the interior, so they will have to let fly from deep. If they remain as efficient from downtown, they should be able to keep pace with this Fenerbahce offense.

Fenerbahce News, Injury Report, Schedule: Four Straight Wins

Owners of the third-best net rating in the EuroLeague, Fenerbahce have won their last four games, including an overtime triumph over Yalovaspor last time out. While they got the job done in the end, it was a close call for Fenerbahce against an inferior team.

Such a game will have concerned Sarunas Jasikevicius. Fenerbahce cannot afford to be so lax against a Crvena Zvezda team which has started the EuroLeague season 2-0.

Look for rebounding to be a key part of Fenerbahce’s game plan on Tuesday. They lead the league in total rebounding percentage and should be able to impose themselves on Crvena Zvezda due to their size.

Crvena Zvezda News, Injury Report, Schedule

Losses to Dubai and Split have seen Crvena Zvezda post just a 2-2 record in the ABA. They have won their first two EuroLeague outings, however, which is particularly significant after posting a negative net rating in the 2023-24 EuroLeague regular season.

Fourth in offensive rating and above average defensively, beat Paris by three points and won by seven over Baskonia. Their defensive rebounding rate is in the bottom six, though, and they have been heavily reliant on the three-point shot of late.

If they have a cold night from beyond the arc, Fenerbahce’s superior physicality is bound to make a difference.

Fenerbahce vs Crvena Zvezda H2H: Streaky Recent History

Crvena Zvezda have won their last three games against Fenerbahce, including an overtime triumph in April of last year. Fenerbahce, however, won four consecutive matchups between March 2020 and October 2021.

Each team has had periods in the ascendancy over the last few years. Games have often been competitive with Crvena Zvezda’s blowout win last November being an anomaly.
