Olympiacos Piraeus vs Anadolu Efes Best Bet
Olympiacos Piraeus are 6th in the Euroleague standings with just 1 win in their last 5 games but have bounced back nicely last week with a 72-62 win over Baskonia. They’ve been a solid team all season, but their defence has been caught off guard multiple times, allowing opponents to go off for 80 or more points. They lost their first road encounter against Efes by 88-69, but their offence has fared much better at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. They have averaged 79.1 points per game with 17.0 assists and a 3-point percentage of 35.3% this year, and I expect their offence to continue rolling tonight.
But Anadolu Efes are also an attack-heavy side with averages of 81.9 points per game and almost identical assists and 3-point numbers. But much like Olympiacos, Efes have struggled to defend their rim this year, allowing 79.7 points per game along with an opponent 3-point percentage of 37.4%. They are a very poor defensive side this year, and it will be impossible to defend their title with this type of defence. But what you can expect almost every single time they play is a high-scoring game. I don’t expect much defence to be played in this one, and I have no problem taking over 159.5 points.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs CSKA Moscow Best Bet
Maccabi Tel Aviv are 12th in the Euroleague standings with 10 wins and 12 losses this season. They experienced a terrible drop in form in late 2021, losing 8 games in a row, but have bounced back with 3 wins in a row in January. But are coming off a difficult 72-50 loss to Bayern Munich due to an unfortunate shooting night where they went 3/18 beyond the arc. That said, this team has shown immense energy on both sides of the floor in the last month, and they have an excellent chance to bounce back at home against a meagre defensive side. They lost to CSKA by just 1 point earlier this season in Moscow, but I expect home advantage to be the difference-maker in this one and get them the victory.
CSKA Moscow are one of the unpredictable teams in the Euroleague this year, due to their potent offence and underwhelming defence. They have averaged 81.1 points scored this season but have also allowed 78.8 on an opponent 3-point percentage of 38.2%. They have won 3 of their last 5 games, but their form on the road has been subpar this season, and I expect Maccabi to keep them at bay in this one. The biggest point of concern for this team is their defence, and with almost 80% of bettors backing them tonight, it’s not a very valuable bet. At 2,46 odds to win at home, Maccabi provide excellent value, and I am backing them to get the job done.
