Anadolu Efes vs Crvena Zvezda

The defending Euroleague champions Anadolu Efes are having a disappointing season so far, and their form has been inconsistent throughout the season. After losses to Barcelona and Bayern Munich, they bounced back with victories over Baskonia and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Their defence is the biggest reason behind their tentative form, allowing 79.1 points per game this season. But they also rely too heavily on the individual scoring talents of Vasilije Mici and Shane Larking, leaving their team without a reliable scoring option when these two aren’t performing.

Crvena Zvezda is a team that has also shown inconsistency in their performances this season on both sides of the floor. But they’ve faced a lot of injury issues recently, and their team is finally back together and performing at a respectable level. They are coming off a solid 81-78 victory over Bayern Munich in Belgrade, and are looking to continue their solid form coming into this one. Defence has been their biggest weapon all season, allowing just 66.6 points per game, and if their guards can contain the dynamic duo of Efes, it should be a close game. The spread is far too big at 11.5 points, and I expect Zvezda to cover.

Tip: Crvena Zvezda +11.5 at 1.91 odds

Alba Berlin vs Monaco

Alba Berlin are having a very 2021/22 season and with just 5 wins and 11 losses, they are 16th in the Euroleague standings. They are struggling on both sides of the floor, averaging 74.6 points per game with 80.9 allowed. Although they’ve had the occasional victory, it’s been mostly losses for the Berlin side, and they are currently riding a 3-game losing streak. Their most recent game was a 93-90 loss to CSKA due to an unusually successful 3-point shooting night from Alba, and an unusually tentative defensive effort from the Moscow side.

Meanwhile, Monaco have also had a very difficult season, but their recent coaching change has earned an increase in form, and they earned their first victory after a 5-game losing streak. Although they are underdogs in this one, I expect their form to keep rising in the near future, and with the abysmal performances of Alba recently, they provide a lot of value tonight. Don’t be surprised to see a close game between two struggling Euroleague sides, but I believe Monaco have the better team in this game, and I expect them to come out on top.

Tip: Monaco to Win at 2.15 odds

Bayern Munich vs Baskonia

Bayern Munich are 12th in the Euroleague standings with 7 wins and 9 losses, but their play has been much better than their record suggests. Whilst their record on the road this season is just 2-9, their play at home has been exceptional, winning 5 of their 7 games at Audi Dome. They are a solid team that plays good team defence and doesn’t rely on just one player to carry the scoring load. But their biggest advantage in this one will be playing at home, and I expect them to get the job done against a struggling Baskonia side.

Meanwhile, Baskonia are having a terrible 2021/22 Euroleague season, and with just 5 wins and 11 losses, they are 16th in the league standings. They’ve won just 2 of their last 11 games, and are coming off a 75-53 loss to Fenerbahce.  They are averaging just 70.2 points scored and 78.9 points allowed per game. with a 3-point field goal percentage of just 32.1% and just 15.6 assists per game, they are one of the least efficient teams in the league, and their recent 53-point performance was an accurate representation of their season so far. I don’t expect much from this team this year, and especially not against a team like Bayern.

Tip: Bayern Munich -6.5 at 1.91 odds
