Celtics vs Heat Expert Picks and Game 2 Prediction: 3.00 Same-Game Parlay For Game Two

  •         Boston Celtics -14.5
  •         Tyler Herro under 20.5 points

Bet Builder Odds: 3.00

bet with bet365
The Celtics have won all four games against the Heat this season. They won by 20 in the first game of this series and had a 30+ win over the Heat earlier in the campaign. For all the talk of Miami’s postseason upside, they had a -1.7 net rating without Jimmy Butler in the regular season, and they were only 16th in net rating overall.

Boston was a whopping +11.6 per 100 possessions. They have so much depth in their playoff rotation that they can win games even when their stars underperform. We’re expecting them to win this at a canter.

Tyler Herro is the other component in this bet builder. He might have delivered in the Play-In, but the 20.5 points line is too high. The Milwaukee native had just 11 points in game one. He went under this line in the last two games of the regular season.

Without Butler and Terry Rozier, Boston’s defense is going to be locked in on Herro – he has his work cut out against Derrick White and Jrue Holiday.

Boston Celtics News, Injury Report, Schedule: Dominance To Continue

Even with Jayson Tatum going seven-for-18 from the field in the series opener, Boston blew the Heat out by 20 points. Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Derrick White all had big scoring games, and they gave the Heat a battering on the glass with 10 offensive rebounds.

It’s no secret the Cs have been a two-way juggernaut all year. This was always a series they would be favored in, but Jimmy Butler’s injury in the Play-In Tournament took away any jeopardy.

Getting this series wrapped up without injuries or overexerting themselves is the aim for Boston. They should be able to cruise to a 2-0 lead on Wednesday night.

Miami Heat News, Injury Report, Schedule: Injuries End Season

Miami has no chance against Boston without Butler, Josh Richardson, and Terry Rozier. There is simply not enough shot creation against a steely Boston defense, as was exhibited by Tyler Herro being held to just 11 points at the weekend.

Too much is asked of Bam Adebayo. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic are not ready to carry such a burden in the Playoffs against the number one overall seed.

There’s a chance the Heat sneak a game at some point in this series, but it’s not going to be game two in Boston.

Celtics vs Heat H2H: Celtics on a Winning Streak

The Heat have won 20 of the 38 Playoff matchups between these two teams. Miami has claimed four of the previous six series, including the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.

Boston has a 101 to 73 advantage in regular season wins, however, and they have won their last four games against Miami.
