MLB Run Total Best Bet: Wednesday June 29th
Welcome to Hump Day and we know you have enjoyed starting the week cashing two or more tickets if you are tailing Ej Garr’s baseball betting advice. Our resident baseball guru is on another tear after breaking out an 8 – 1 – 1 run just a week ago. Repetition is the sincerest form of flattery and we are going right back to Kansas City for a 3rd straight day to cash another ticket on Wednesday.

I know, it never gets old when you find the right trend happening at the right time and we are all over the fade of the Royals pitching staff this week. You’ve seen me say for two days that the absence of Sal Perez is going to hinder this Royals’ starting rotation and the scars are already showing.
We faded Kris Bubic on Monday and boy, did he deliver us an early cash-in, and then we faded Big Johnny Heasley last night and he did exactly what I said he would do. Give it up and get us paid again and once again, you should have cashed a pair of tickets instead of just one last night.
Zack Grienke gets the nod for Kansas City to start this afternoon’s game at Kauffman Stadium, and he is a far cry from that veteran who should have his stuff together. Instead, Greinke is going in the wrong direction and although he won’t feel the absence of Perez as most starters might, he will still struggle with one little thing today.
The Rangers are a complete lineup with everyone contributing at the moment, and I mentioned how a team catches fire throughout the year and how important it is to ride it out. The Texas bats are all in good form right now and we are reaping the benefits of it. Monday night? It was the mid-to-bottom of the Texas lineup that did most of, if not all of the damage to land 10 runs in a big win to start this series.
Tuesday? Marcus Simien and Corey Seager were the two ripping the laces off of the baseball while the bottom of the order was still providing more sparks The pair combined to drive in 6 of the Rangers’ 8 runs totalling 5 hits and 4 runs scored to boot. his whole lineup is just hitting the ball and that is what?. Contagious! Hitting is as contagious as the slumps can be at times and nothing is slumping about the Rangers’ offence right now.
Combining that with the inefficiencies of an ageing Zack Grienke and we have the making of another team total to cash nice and early. We splashed the Rangers’ O2.5 team total in the 1st 5 innings of games 1 and 2 and this will make a trifecta.
The whole country saw Grienke get jacked up 3 times against Minnesota on MLBTV before his last start against Oakland, although hey, I will give him credit for pitching well against the As last time out. The Rangers’ offence is far and away in a groove that Oakland hasn’t seen all season, however, so let’s not compare apples to oranges.
The question I need to answer for us is will Texas score 3 damn runs again before we get to the 6th inning, and my response is adamant yes, yes we will! Oh, and the line has been above 2.00 all 3 days as well, which means we’ve had plus money value for your troubles.
