First of all, we only need the 4 runs to cross the plate so we can, at worst, push our action on the Over 4, so if they do get stuck at 2 to 2 we just get our cashback and live to bet another day. I don’t even think it will be that close and the starting pitchers along with the weather here in New York should make our lives a little easier.

Adrian Houser is expected to take the mound for the Brewers and we just need him to give up 2 runs, right? Well, considering that he gave up 3 home runs in his last start against the Phillies in a 10 – 0 loss, I’d say he might help us get those 2 runs if not more. Houser has been caught giving up 5 long balls in his last 3 starts and it will be a nice, balmy 80F degrees in Flushing at game time.

Trust me, a warm day with a bit of humidity is instantly a call for some runs to be scored and we’re expecting that here on Tuesday. While Houser seems to be giving up bombs, his counterpart Chris Bassitt has all of a sudden turned into a gas can. Bassitt got off to good start to his Mets’ career but lately, he has been getting hit hard and hasn’t picked up a win over his last 6 starts.

The Over has poured in over 5 of Bassitt’s last 6 outings and we also just need him to give up a pair of runs before we hit the 6th innings. We’re not asking for much to happen but a bloop and blast for each team before we reach the 6th inning and the odds of both starting pitchers getting torched are high.
