The quest for a perfect week rolls on and it sure is nice cashing multiple tickets day after day, right? I have offered 5 MLB betting tips over the last 3 days and a 4 – 0 – 1 record means not a loss can be found as we head to the back half of the week.

The Blue Jays made our lives easy on Wednesday night banking 5 runs before getting out of the 3rd inning and I see no reason why we can’t expect a similar outcome tonight. The Orioles are sending Tyler Wells to the mound as the expected starter, and he has commonly been seen leaving a game after 5 innings.

Did you notice the one trend he has working in his favour? In the 3 starts that he has thrown 6 innings, Wells has picked up his only 3 wins of the season so getting past the 5th usually means he can win the game. Also, I am not fading him so much as I expect the Jays bats to just stay hot as I mentioned yesterday they are just tearing the cover off the ball this week.

After putting up 11 runs on Monday, the Jays scored 5 runs on Tuesday albeit in a loss but a 7 – 6 win on Wednesday now gives Toronto a chance to take 3 of 4 games in their division. We all know those games are nearly twice as important as any others on the schedule and the Yankees are on deck for a 3-game series this weekend.

Toronto jumped into the #2 position in the rankings putting up a .755 OPS as they were 3rd when I wrote up yesterday’s game. The Blue Jays are also ranked 2nd in team batting average hitting the ball at a .257 clip and I don’t expect anyone to be out of the lineup for this afternoon game. Toronto has the 23rd off so that will be the day of rest for the big bats we’ll need to hit this play on the team total early. That is the best part about plays like this because it can ultimately just come down to one mistake and one blast to see a few runs cross the plate and when they do we can just relax and wait for the 6th inning to start to see a nice increase to our bankroll again.

Be sure to know the lineups because this is a day game and the Yankees are coming to town for 3 games starting on Friday.

I think we can all expect Kevin Gausman to be fired up to face his old team, as the Jays’ starter came into the league with the birds back in 2013 and spent his first 6 years there. This is his first year in Toronto after leaving the Giants where he was 14 – 6 a year ago as they nearly got to the World Series.
