The Los Angeles Angels will be looking to take a third win from their 4-game series with the White Sox and our resident MLB expert Ej Garr believes that’s exactly what we’ll see. The line setters are serving up another plus money offer on a live dog and you know who is always ready to bark loud and bite hard!

Chicago White Sox vs Los Angeles Angels Best Bet

May 2, 19:10 UK time

The line setters are trying to ensure that those favorite bettors play along but we know better! You have followed me enough to know that when I find a live dog I want to bite down hard and hit it with a locked jaw!

Chicago is favoured? When I opened the schedule and noticed there were only 8 games today, I knew I had to pick the best bet to suggest to our readers to start the week off right. I believe that we have our tip on the Angels fired up with a line of 2.13 listed at pinnacle although the line could move a bit come game time.

The Angels are proving they are the better team in this series and the better team overall to start off the young MLB season to boot. Now at 15 – 8 after Sunday’s 6 – 5 win over the Chi-Sox, the Halo’s will send Patty Sandoval to the bump this evening to hopefully, continue to build on what is just a stupid start to his 2022 season. In a good way.

Sandoval has an ERA of… wait for it…

NADA! Zero! Zilch! Like not a damn earned run this season in 3 starts in which he’s thrown 15 innings of stellar ball. I mean I SAID NOTHING! Now, he did only go 4 innings on each of his first two starts but he went 7 innings last time out against Cleveland and was downright dominant. Granted, the Guardians are not hitting the ball well, to say the least, but Sandoval struck out 9 and only walked 1 allowing 2 hits through those 7 IP en route to his first W of the year.

The Angels are 3 – 0 in his starts and until anyone even touches him at all I see this opportunity on a live dog to bark for us once again. You are dealing with someone who will thinkdog way before I suggest you drink a bunch of juice so get used to it.

The Sox are sending Dylan Cease to the hill on Monday and he’s pitched rather well to start the campaign. Cease features a 2 – 1 record with a respectable 3.27 ERA as he is set to make his 5th start of the season in this one. Outside of his start against Cleveland, Cease has held his other 3 opponents to less than 2 earned runs as he sports a 28 / 10 K to BB ratio.

Giving Dylan Cease some run support might be an issue for the Sox because they ranked 27th in scoring runs (3.27), average (.212), and OPS (.612) going into Sunday’s game. Despite the 2 late 9th inning runs yesterday it is certainly not going to do anything but make those numbers go further in the wrong direction.

We have the Angels at plus money so get on that pinnacle offer of 2.13 towards the Angels to take their 3rd win from this 4-game set with the Sox. The Sox 9th inning rally that fell short yesterday will only add further disappointment to the locker room. Getting their hopes up after being down 6 – 0 only to make a valiant comeback that still fell short? In my opinion, a loss in that fashion doesn’t build confidence coming into today’s affair so the Angels get the nod.
