The Angels just wrapped a 7-game road trip that ended in complete disaster. After splitting a 4-game series with the Rays, the Angels are coming off a sweep at the hands of the Reds this past weekend. 

Since sweeping the Marlins from April 1 – 3, the Angels haven’t won their last five series, and have allowed 109 runs among the worst in the American League.

Los Angeles will be home until May 1. After the series with the Orioles, the Twins and Phillies will each swing into Angel Stadium for a 3-game series.

Anthony Rendon left Saturday’s game against the Reds with a hamstring pull, and he is now on the 10-day IL. 

Baltimore Orioles News, Injury Report, Schedule: Birds Heating Up in April

The Orioles have won 6 of their last 7 games coming into Los Angeles to face the Angels. 

Baltimore swept the Twins before heading to Kansas City, and the Orioles earned wins in two of the three games against the Royals to wrap up the week.

After this three-game series concludes, the Orioles will have Thursday off to travel before playing seven straight home games. The A’s will land in Baltimore on Friday for a weekend set, and then the Yankees will arrive in town for an important 4-game divisional series with New York.

Left Fielder Austin Hays sat out of Sunday’s game against Kansas City with a stiff calf, and he is questionable to play on Monday.
