Luis Peña vs Khama Worthy Preview
TUF contestant Luis Peña makes his sixth UFC appearance in just 2 years this weekend when he takes on Khama Worthy on the prelims of UFC Vegas 4. Who wins?
by Bettingexpert Sports Staff, Jun 22, 2020, at 2.55 pm.
After being a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter season 27, Luis Peña burst onto the scene with a first-round submission win over Richie Mullen on the season finale. Peña would go on to compete once more in 2018, losing a close split-decision to Mike Trizano in November. In 2020, Peña has competed in the UFC six times, with a record of 4-2. He faces Khama Worthy this Sunday and tries to make it 5-2. Khama Worthy is coming off a huge underdog win against Devonte Smith, in his UFC debut. He was a 7.00 underdog in that fight and managed to get a first-round knockout against his former teammate. Worthy is on a six-fight win streak heading into his fight with Peña.

Peña vs Worthy Betting Considerations
Luis Peña is as technical as they come, and perhaps a future contender in the UFC’s lightweight division. At 26 years of age, he is still evolving tremendously and has six fights in the UFC already. Worthy is seven years older than Peña and has six losses on his record. In fights with a seven-year gap between fighters, we tend to see the youngster walk away as the victor 65% of the time.
Worthy’s win in the UFC was impressive, but picking Worthy to get another knockout against a slick and technical fighter like Peña isn’t what we recommend. If Worthy want’s to win this fight, it might be via knockout. However, Peña has the composure and grappling to take this fight on the judges’ scorecards. Peña has the physical attributes on his side, and is also superior in striking, judging from the numbers.
Prediction Time!
Peña is the younger and more technical fighter out of the two, and we think that will help him in this fight. Worthy usually goes out there looking for knockouts, and if he does that against Luis Peña he will probably come up short. Peña has the grappling to punish Worthy for overcommitting to punches and has been the more active fighter of the two. Worthy will be in for a long night if he goes out headhunting against Peña. We predict Luis Peña gets the win in this fight.
