bettingexpert Schevchenko vs Andrade Betting Tips and Predictions

Valentina Shevchenko-Jessica Andrade
Flyweight

UFC 261: Valentina Schevchenko Style & Form

Schevchenko spent most of her early career fighting in different Kickboxing and Muay-Thai organizations.

She finally made her UFC debut in 2015. Her first fight was a victory against Sarah Kaufman.

She holds an MMA record of 20 victories and three losses. Her only two UFC defeats came against Amanda Nunes via decision.

Since defeating Joanna Jędrzejczyk for the Flyweight title in late 2018, she has successfully defended her title four times.

Her biggest strength is definitely her stand-up. Her rich background in Kickboxing and Muay-Thai has provided lots of success in her MMA career.

But she can also wrestle, with seven of her MMA victories coming via submission.

Her favorite weapon is her counter-striking. She loves to measure the distance of her opponent’s attacks and retaliate with lethal hooks, kicks, spinning-back fists, and more.

Her biggest advantage in this match is her height and reach. Schevchenko has a 169 – centimeter reach. This will allow her to keep Andrade at a distance and use her kicks and one-two combinations to wear down her opponent.

UFC 261: Jessica Andrade Style & Form:

Jessica Andrade joined the UFC in 2013 and has made a name for herself as one of the best female fighters today.

She holds an MMA record of 21 victories and eight losses.

After losing two fights in a row in the Strawweight division, Andrade moved up to Flyweight.

She won her debut against Kaitlyn Chookagian to become the first woman in UFC history to win a fight in the Bantamweight, Strawweight, and Flyweight division.

Andrade started her fighting career by training and competing in BJJ.

She eventually moved on to MMA and got her stand-up game to an elite level.

What she lacks in reach, she makes up for it in pure knockout power.

Andrade is a very dangerous fighter, and it’s obvious why she is the top contender for the title.

She holds a black belt in BJJ, and her combination of wrestling and stand-up is difficult to match.

She is a very balanced and complete fighter. Eight of her victories have come by knockout, and seven more by submission.

The only thing that can stop her from winning the Flyweight title is her 156 – centimeter reach.

UFC 261: Shevchenko vs Andrade Bets:

This might turn out to be the most entertaining fight on the card.

Schevchenko is a lethal striker, but also has the wrestling to escape unfavorable positions.

Andrade is a vicious fighter, and her elite BJJ gives her a slight advantage on the ground if the fight goes there.

Schevchenko wants to keep her distance and use her counters to stun and finish Andrade.

Andrade will want to push the pace and enter the pocket, where she can look for a knockout blow.

We can expect a stand-up match, but it’s difficult to imagine Andrade knocking out the champion. Schevchenko went the distance with Amanda Nunes and has never really been knocked out in her career. Her only TKO loss was a result of a doctor stoppage in 2010.

Back Schevchenko to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission at 2,30 odds.
