Aldana came out as a near-last-minute replacement. Not to say that she is undeserving of a title shot, but in class where there are not many contenders that could rival Amanda’s dominance, she came out on top.
At the same time, Aldana definitely has a shot against Amanda. If she is able to implement a similar game plan to Pena, she might be able to prevent Amanda’s attack with jabs and straight punches. But at the same time, she has to keep the fight on the feet.
Aldana showed considerable weakness on the ground, something that Holm was able to exploit. Nunes might easily decide to grapple Aldana and edge out a decision win with ease.
