Ayr da pobedi
As other sides begin to hit some inconsistent form, Ayr are on the up, having won 8/10, scoring 24 and conceding just 4 goals in those 10 games.
George Oakley has been brilliant for Ayr, scoring 7 in his last 4 games. Ayr manager, Scott Brown, is being linked with a move to Premiership side Motherwell, however he will know not to let that impact him or his teams performance. This isn't the first time he's been linked with a move to a higher division.
Hamilton Accies are in 8th place (in a 10 team league) and they are quite lucky to be there. Dunfermline (in 9th) have been awful this season and have just changed managers. I'd expect them to finish higher than 9th. Airdrie (in 10th place) have been worse and are practically already relegated.
Hamilton have won 4/10, but taking a closer look at their opponents here:
2-1 win vs Banks O'Dee - lower league team
2-1 win vs Queen's Park - 5th in the league
3-2 win vs Airdrie - bottom of league
3-1 win vs Musselburgh - lower league and we're drawing 1-1 until the 89th minute
That list isn't impressive. Ayr are pushing for the title here and a win can keep them within touching distance of first place Falkirk.
